Bought a large carrot juice, got home took a large gulp and threw up right away. Checked the date and it's 2 weeks past expiration. Went back to store and they said I needed the receipt, tho I pointed out exchanging it was the least of my concerns and how could they sell something so long expired??I told them I threw out my receipt when I bought it so they made me go through the garbage to find it, which I did and found it so they finally let me exchange. No apologies, no making it right. Just an absolutely horrible experience. From now on it's whole foods or trader Joe's. Shoot, even Walmart or Giant over this place.

As visitors to the US and our first experience of a Safeway, we were very pleasantly surprised. Good selection, good prices and friendly helpful staff - in particular the kind lady (apologies for not getting your name) at the deli/food counter who happily went out of her way to help us.

They need to examine their dairy dating practices. The saveway brand milk is almost always mislabeled, and will go bad weeks before it's expiration date. They also need to stop running the diet soda promotion where you have to buy 6 liters to take advantage. It leads to them being constantly sold out, and nobody wants to carry that much liquid back to their apartment.

Overpriced and the credit card system often crashes. Avoid at all costs

Had no particular craving but, I was hungry for something. I walked around the deli and hot food bar two times before I saw a staff member making sushi with care and detail. Now everyone loves to bash store bought sushi but hey, someone has to make it somewhere, right? Well, I got a Nigiri combo for just under $11 and after eating it slowly; I was sated and no longer hungry. This store is neat and for this time of day, a very good time to shop. A nice quiet shopping experience. No sushi pics but I would recommend trying some.

One of the worst Safeway locations I’ve ever witnessed, nobody knows anything the products they sell or general locations of items, rude staff that’s not trained for customer service, save your money don’t shop here

Strategic and convenient location. The self-checkout cashier was attentive and helpful to everyone in the line. This safeway always has fresh produces that don't disappoint, and complete salad and hot bar. Prices have gone up throughout the years but there're always weekly deals, and meat and fish on sale. I want to highlight the store manager who went above and beyond. I was tired from being sick and did not have enough grocery to count for a cash back. He graciously helped me although it was my fault. Thank you Sir for showing kindness in my low moments

It's convenient, but pricey. Quality doesn't always match the prices. I usually try to avoid it when I have the time to go shop elsewhere

Without a doubt, one of the worst managed Safeway stores in the area. Today at 6:30 pm only one register was opened with an employee. Manager was not visable. It is true that the prices posted are often not what you pay at the register. Safeway needs to do a top to bottom examination and make their own independent observations. I soke with 3 customers tonight anb each of them had very negative things to say about their experiences at this paricular location.

Think of it as a 7-11 rather than a supermarket. Prices are very frequently marked incorrectly, and when the prices are wrong, they are always to the customers' detriment. There is ether no or bad customer service. It is unusual if you get staff which is competent and customer servicer oriented. Store Manager will ignore you even when you need help. The checkout systems are frequently inputted with incorrect price information. I live across the street and try to avoid this store as best I can. My experiences there are ALWAYS negative. Other Customers in line tell me to think of this Safeway as a 7-11 convenience store to adjust my expectations. But the 7-11 stores have better customer service! Please do the community a service and close this location.

Worst service EVER at the new FEDEX desk--no one is there to wait on you, they cannot print receipts, and act like it is a big favor to tear themselves away and provide service.

After living abroad, it’s always great to visit a US grocery store and this Safeway is no exception. Great selection, good products that I’m used to seeing. Just a great shopping experience.

Has most things you would need. The fresh produce section is quite well stocked. There's an extensive wine rack, I wish Sake was available (the site shows it but can't find it in the shop). The sushi is underrated, give it a try!

I'm giving this Safeway an improved review by 1 star. I think in the almost 3 yrs that I've been here, the offerings for prepared foods, bakery, and florals have improved appreciably and so has the friendliness of the staff. I had one really nice guy search all over the store to help me find the Kitchen Bouquet recently. My main complaints with this store are these: (1) that they do not always have a full-service checkout line in the mornings. I'm sorry, but I am not going to buy a full week or more of groceries, with produce to weigh and count, and then check it out and bag it myself. I'll walk out of the store and go to the Safeway (or Giant) on Langston Boulevard. (2) Sometimes shelves are bare in places. I do realize that with the pandemic, a lot of stores are having issues with keeping certain items stocked. Me? I'm missing my America's Best popcorn.
