I came here for an oil change. Aside from needing an oil change the car was in perfect condition I had not even owned it a year yet. Maybe 8 months.
The minute I left the car brakes were squeaking them grinding - no longer in good shape. Very odd. I will not going back to this establishment and I do not recommend this place.

Friendly, efficient service. I've been using their mechanics for annual Virginia inspections and they've always been helpful.
Getting into the station from northbound Glebe can be a challenge, but this is one of the most convenient gas stations in the area.

My partner and I have five cars and always have them inspected for safety and emissions at this Glebe Rd. Shell station. We never have a long wait, the staff is thorough and professional, and the few times we've needed any repairs or replacements to meet the inspection requirements have been legitimate and welcome. We want our automobiles to be safe and clean. I highly recommend this business.

I got my car inspected here a couple months ago, Bilal and Rizwan were super fast and helpful. My car was finished so much faster than I expected, I had an appointment at Mr. Tire up the street and they told my it would take all day. Glebewood had be finished up in 20 minutes.

I visited this Shell station to get my car inspected. I had just had my oil changed and car checked at my regular mechanic in Springfield (Rolling Road Sunoco) less than 6 weeks earlier, but Glebewood Shell was closer and more convenient so I stopped by there on a weekday morning expecting a smooth and quick inspection. I was in for a rude surprise. After waiting about an hour, I was told by the employee that one of my brake pads was so thin that the car failed the inspection and could only pass if I had the brake repaired. They quoted me more than $500 for the repair. Again, I was very surprised because my brakes had just been checked by a reputable mechanic not long before. I ended up just paying for the inspection and then driving the car to my regular mechanic in Springfield to look at. As I suspected, the brake pads were in perfectly fine condition and didn’t require any repair. I had the car reinspected at the gas station in Springfield and the car passed. I called Glebewood Shell and told them that it appeared that they had fraudulently failed my car and they refused to even refund the cost of the inspection or admit any wrongdoing. I then called the Virginia Sheriff’s Department and a sheriff’s deputy checked the car and affirmed the work of the inspector in Springfield and cited Glebewood Shell’s inspector. He also mentioned to me that this is not the first time the inspector at Glebewood Shell has been issued a citation for fraudulent inspections. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!

100% avoid this repair shop. I took my car here for a state inspection and ended up with a $2500 repair bill that failed 2 times. They didn’t screw the wheel back on my car and it almost fell off on the freeway. Back to square 0 with a failed inspection and $2500 in the hole! They don’t know what they are doing.

Hello everyone be ware about this shell repair shop. Person in charge from Pakistan age around 35 to 38 is very rude and very nasty behave to me . I know this person since many years that he discriminate black and Asian black peoples. He always serve nicely to white peoples. But he talks and behaves with Asian people very nasty way and rudely. Even after doing following occurrence or job the way he behaved with me that human never do. He did to me because I’m south Asian and not white skin.OCCURANCE IS …..he has severely damaged my brand new hybrid Toyota Corolla 2023. After oil change they did not put back lid on engine and next day engine sign pop up and when I opened the front hood I found no lid on engine and oil all over the engine and severely damage my brand new car. I don’t know yet how much I have to pay to fix this car.
After doing above job instead of asking apologies or simple say sorry he said me it’s happen because you want cheap price job but I paid $92 for oil change. Not only that his aggression, raised voice and body language make me feel I’m not a human or a customer. I have noticed many times he jumps to serve while customers while I have been waiting long before white person. I wish I can add pictures of my new car.

It can be really difficult to find a business you truly trust these days, and this one was such a pleasant surprise. Everyone that works here could not be nicer or more helpful. My husband and I have an older car and it was treated with the utmost care and respect. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and they have always provided a clear explanation (and oftentimes a demonstration) of the labor costs and why the work they are doing is necessary. We had our Virginia safety inspection done here and they were very helpful with that as well. We have returned several times and always been happy with our experience here.
