The cashier was extremely rude towards us (South Asians) and was noticeably politer towards other customers. Absolutely disgusting behavior and brought down our spirits early in the morning. The woman showed annoyance towards us and crushed our spirits early in the morning dampening our DC visit.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE speed up service! Lines and wait for simple orders take entirely too long. Movement is too slow prepping and getting pastry orders. PLEASE fix this.

The staff is so rude. I asked to customize a drink and the cashier shook her head. Then the guy continued to make 3 drinks behind me before mine. When the guy made my drink wrong, he told me he wouldn’t fix it and it was my fault until he read the cup and it said he was wrong. I also asked for iced water and he told me no. Horrible customer service.

I always stop in this Starbucks when staying at the Crowne Plaza since it's attached to it. Food and service is just like any other fast and reliable.

Polite staff. Situated on the MZ floor of Crowne Plaza hotel and got spacious sitting tables.

This is a pretty good Starbucks. The staff is well trained and polite. The outdoor seating area is nice. Drinks are pretty consistent. Only complaint is you can’t order ahead.

We stayed here on a long road trip, with a stop in DC for a Nationals game. We were relatively close (about 3 blocks) to the Crystal City Metro, and a bit surprised as to how empty the streets were upon returning home from a night Nationals game. I would not have felt safe walking alone in the evening. The hotel itself was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience, and a great place to stay if you need to catch a flight, or are visiting the crystal city area.

Horrible! Upon our arrival, there were water Pump noises going on and off every 30 seconds right above the headboard so we after 2 hours we had to ask for a room change as it was impossible to sleep. Mind you, it was 2>00 am when the change took place. You get charged for parking $40.00 for parking even if all you do is drive in 5 minutes to load your rent-a-car with your luggage after picking it up from the airport and leaving immediately after. But the worst part of all are the Girls at the front desk who have no manners whatsoever! They are simply Rude, belligerent and plain obnoxious! No tact, manners or class! Real entitled low life’s. I wouldn’t go back to this place even if I were offered a week for free! Definitely a horrible experience and one to share with all so that you may avoid having to go through the same experience I had to. The hotel is outdated, very badly cared for and extremely overrated for your money's worth. But the girls at the front desk, oh man! Horrible people!

My son was in a situation in which he had lost his ID and credit card during travel. He was stranded in DC when his flight was canceled. I called in advance to explain the situation to a front desk woman named Michelle. She was more than helpful and assured me she would help my son get a room. The minute he walked in the hotel, she glared at him , seemingly based on the way he looks. He was having difficulty getting a room, my son called me and I told him Michelle will help you. He then realized she was the woman who sneered at him upon arrival. When he told her I was on the phone and had spoken with her earlier, she dismissed him with a wave of her hand, stating she did not not want to talk to me. The rest of his stay, she used a condescending tone of voice to him and was flat out rude. It’s disgusting to me how people of the same race so harshly judge others of their own race based upon appearance, not the human being. Racism perpetuates in many forms.
