Highly recommend giving Sweatbox a try no matter what fitness level you're at! I joined Vida about a year and half ago and fell in love with Sweatbox the first class I took. I go several times a week and love the atmosphere, the music, and the instructors who keep you motivated and having fun while doing the workout! Each workout is different and the class never gets stale (which I've found with other group fitness classes in the past). By far the best group fitness class in the DMV!

SweatBox is an incredible workout! It will challenge you and you will see results. The instructors are encouraging, energetic and fun. I love Gwen's playlists and when she has themed classes! Highly recommend if you want to take your fitness to the next level.

SweatBox is an AMAZING workout. This is a great way to maximize an hour and truly get a well-rounded workout into your day. The instructors have unmatched energy to motivate you and the music/playlists are always so much fun! The perfect blend of strength & cardio. While it can be challenging, you have the option to push yourself (or not) when you want! Truly great for all fitness levels and I will continue to go back alone or with my friends!

Sweatbox is my all time favorite workout class, I go 2-3 times week. It's a half spin cycle (for cardio), half floor circuit (for strength). You'll get your heart rate up while still building those muscles. Most group fitness classes I feel can lack during the strength portion because they focus more on the cardio so I really love that the strength in Sweatbox is still challenging but doable. While it's a difficult class, everything is adjustable to your fitness level - the bikes have varying difficulty settings, the dumbbell weights are adjustable, and the instructors provide modifications for all the exercises. What makes the class extra special is the lighting, music, and incredible energy of the instructors. The lights get turned down low and the music is bumping, you really feel in the zone with no distractions. The instructors push you to your limit while still making the class so fun and high tempo. Highly recommend trying it out!

I've been regularly attending SweatBox classes for the past two years. The workouts are a fast paced mix of strength exercises and cardio. Every instructor I've taken a class with has set the tone for a fun workout with great energy and music. I would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys group fitness classes!

I have been a member of VIDA for several years now. I have gone to all the locations but in the last 3 years I've been living in Ballston and frequently go to SweatBox there. I remember meeting one of the instructors Gwen through a friend, and she immediately was someone I knew I would be friends with! Her energy is infectious! SweatBox is one of those classes that makes you really push yourself to the next level as an athlete. It's a combination of the bike, resistance training, weights , and conditioning. You use your entire body in this class and you feel stronger and better after each class! I'm a fan for life!

Obsessed with sweatbox! Fantastic instructors, great playlists, and the atmosphere is so motivating. Every class is a well rounded workout that really pushes you. They switch up the workouts too, so you never get bored. highly recommende!

I started going to Sweatbox a couple of years ago. I still love the classes which are a combination of strength and cardio. Great to do with a group of friends. My fave instructors are Gwen and Sal!

I joined Vida last month after quarantining for the last 4 months due to their awesome safety protocols and covid precautions taken by the club. I received a SweatBox trial with my membership and after 3 classes, I can honestly say that I am officially ADDICTED! You can buy an unlimited 2 week trial for $39 which is an unreal deal for this level of workout.I'd compare SweatBox to Barry's Boot Camp in terms of being a killer HIIT workout. Barry's is a favorite workout of mine, however unfortunately I have bad knees so SweatBox is WAY better for me because it's just as intense (if not more) but substitutes cycling for the treadmill segments. I also love that unlike OTF and Barry's, you have your own "box" of space, equipment, weights, and bike so you don't have to share sweat with someone else which is especially crucial during the pandemic.I'm one of those people who don't feel like I worked out hard enough unless I'm in some pain/suffering through the class (in a good way) and SweatBox never disappoints! Since all of Vida is 100% masked for everyone's safety, they recommend wearing a disposable mask for the class and provide it if you don't have one.My favorite instructors so far as Cali, Shawn, and Wes. They're all incredibly motivating and really kick your butt! Their variety of classes include full body aka full throttle and also targeted area days (such as arms, butt, chest, etc) which are all simply are AMAZING!Overall, the SweatBox instructors are absolutely top notch and trust me, you'll get an unbelievable workout! You won't have a single moment of boredom and really feel it in your body the entire next day. I've brought my cousin and now my husband who are also totally OBSESSED. We will all be purchasing class packs and I'm thinking about adding on the membership. Can't recommend Sweatbox enough, it's 100% one of the best classes out there!
