I’ve shipped here a few times and somehow they’ve managed to always pick the priciest option for me — Every time it’s magically in the $100–$200 range for sending some basic stuff.
[**Update: 8/12/2025**]
Last Friday, they quoted me over $60 for shipping from Virginia to Oregon and another $20 for packaging — for a single 2 lb box. Three days later (the next Monday), I walked into another UPS store around Tysons Corner with the exact same box and address, and paid literally half that price($31 total). Unless Pentagon City UPS is lining their boxes with silk and sealing them with 24k gold tape, I can’t imagine where that extra money is going.
If you enjoy paying luxury prices for plain cardboard, this is your place. If not, take your package and your wallet somewhere else.

Warning: they charge you $3 ridiculous set-up fee for printing.
It's stupid, without using the computer, how can I print?

Worst UPS store. I shipped an international package and it got returned due to high value. It turned out the employee there put the wrong value n the label - $45 vs $450 . The manager blackmailed me with $200 citing the return cost . I called UPS corporation and I was told no cost for returned packages.

Too busy debating a song and having a conversation to notice a long line of customers. When I approached the rep, he was annoyed that I asked him to accept my Amazon return. After helping me, both reps simply went back to their discussion, while others customers were waiting in line. 🤦🏽♂️

I needed a pickup from a nearby auction house with special handling and packing as it is a valuable, historic item. Kat was very responsive and helpful, and it arrived quickly and safely boxed in a LOT of packing material.
Thanks so much for your exceptional service!

I received the package today sent from this store from an auction house. I have NEVER had an item packed so well. Kudos to you and whoever else was responsible.

This location opens and closes at whatever time they please when they can easily change their business hours. The staff gets the job done but they are not polite, you’ll be lucky to get a greeting back from anyone.
It also cost $3.65 to print out one sheet of paper (UPS label). All UPS’s are ran by different owners—this is the first time I’ve experienced paying for 1 sheet of paper to print out their label.

The worst UPS employees work there, they are rude to customer service and they don't help you at all. They sold me 3 boxes to return some things from Amazon and then they tell me that I only needed one big box and they want to charge me again for a big box. They made me pay for 4 boxes. The manager is a racist white guy who treated me badly and spoke to me very rudely just because I didn't want to pay for them to pack the box, because it was cheaper for me to pack the box myself. It's a shame that they have people like that working in customer service.
Responding to your comment below:
First of all, it was never me who asked for the 4 boxes, the guy who helped me told me that I needed to buy 4 boxes to return my products. When I agreed to buy the boxes and only after I was packing the boxes did he realize that I only needed 1 large box. I think you guys are there to help people or not? If you have the videos I would gladly like to watch them again because many times I said “I’m sorry” to the cashier. Obviously I got upset when he told me that I had to spend again by buying another large box because they had already charged me 32 dollars, that’s why I asked for my refund. And it was you who came in a bad way asking me for the receipt and yelling at me that I had ruined 2 boxes and that you were not going to give me my refund for 2 boxes, when in reality it was not my fault. And then you wanted me to pay another 30 dollars for a box that you ended up selling me for 12 dollars, and you got upset because I asked why 30 dollars, what was different about me sealing the box and only paying the 12 dollars that the box was worth? And if you were racist because I didn't see you treat anyone the way you treated me, and if you notice in your comment you're even calling me a “total jerk,” I see that you have no training to treat customers, you should look for another job if you don't want to help people. And if you say that you have the videos then you should watch them and see your way of speaking and your attitudes, they are not adequate to be working as Customer Services.
Responding to your last comment:
Don't worry, I don't plan on going back to that place ever in my life, and if you say you have the videos I would be happy to see them and show you the times I apologized to the cashier and if he was irritated he shouldn't be working serving customers, because your job is to help with problems with our packages. And if not, find another business. And if you got upset when you talked to me that's not a lie, and I already realized that there are many bad reviews talking about the terrible customer service in your store and that they always want to scam people by charging an excess for selling a box. So the problem is not me, it's you and it's a shame that you have a business where thousands of people come and that it's a business where you deal with customers to resolve their concerns with their packages.
Clearly if you get irritated by dealing with customer service you are in the wrong business and your employee is in the wrong job.
