I had the best experience going to my girl Maryam at Urban Halo. I’ve been going to Maryam for a year now, even before she came to the upscale salon. Her ability to be personable and kind while creating the best brunette balayage is unmatched. Definitely go see her, you won’t regret it! My hair is always so silky and bouncy after. 🩷

The team at Urban Halo is incredible. From the moment you walk in, you can just feel you’re in for world class service. The stylists are all highly trained and you can seek out specialists depending on your needs. I’ve been going to Elvira for nearly 10 years and my hair (and my kids’ hair) has never looked better.

After weeks of searching for a new salon, I found Urban Halo and booked a consultation with Nash—and I couldn’t be happier. My hair was uneven and damaged, and I was ready to go full brunette to save my hair. Instead, Nash created a thoughtful long-term plan to restore my hair’s health and spent three hours on a major correction so I could stick with the style that makes me confident and happy with my hair.
I walked in with an absolute broken mess and left with beautifully toned, even blonde hair—done with precision and intention for future strength. Nash is an artist with incredible attention to detail, and I highly recommend him.

Elvira is amazing with doing color, cut, and styling. I have been going to her for many years. She takes great pride in her work and always spends a lot of time to make sure her work is perfection. She is very caring and wants to make sure that her clients are happy when they leave the salon. My daughter has curly hair and she is also amazing at cutting and styling curly hair.

I had a baby and desperately needed a haircut (mom cut) to help reduce my stress over hair maintenance. I saw Maryam, I communicated my expectations and she delivered! I love my hair! I have long, thin, full, wavy hair and she saved my life as a new mom by cutting it a perfect length that works with my daily routine. Urban Halo Salon is clean, modern, and has such a great vibe. Maryam was fantastic—she asked the right questions to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered perfectly. My full highlights and cut came out amazing, with beautiful gray blending that looks natural and authentic. After months of searching for a new salon in the area, I’ve finally found the one. I’ve been getting my hair done by Elvira since I was probably 10 years old, and, flash forward almost 20 years later, she’s still the only person I trust when it comes to my hair. I’ve lived across the country in CA and now live in NYC and, to this day, make sure my visits home include a trip to see Elvira. She’s so extremely knowledgeable and meticulous when it comes to hair and puts in the work to help make your vision come to life. On top of that, she is such a kind and caring person - she truly values her clients and their hair goals. I cannot recommend Elvira and her team at Urban Halo enough - they’re the absolute best!

I have been looking for a new salon in Arlington after rectory moving and I found Urban Halo online and loved my experience. Maryam did an amazing job brightening up my blonde. I absolutely love it and she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I found my new stylist and will be coming back! I recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist in the DMV!
