This post office, located off Glebe Road in the heart of Arlington, Virginia, is in an older building that feels far too large for the limited services they offer. They consistently open late, and you’re lucky if there’s more than one person working the counter at any given time. If you're fortunate enough to have Tracey assist you, you’re in good hands—she’s helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff often comes across as condescending, which makes the experience less than enjoyable. Prices have increased quite a bit over the last few years, and the location makes poor use of the available space. It’s also not the cleanest place. Overall, it's not the most convenient or pleasant post office to visit.

Honestly the service is fine but I don’t think I have ever seen them open on time. I would recommend not showing up until at least an hour past posted open time

Tracy is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the post office. She is nice, greets everybody, isnt condescending when you ask for help & wishes you a great day once your transaction is complete.
I personally cant stand S Glebe Road location down the road from this one because they are always rude- God forbid you ask them to lend you a pen!
This N Glebe location is a little further out for me but I’m glad I went today as Tracy was a delight.

Do not expect them to be open during regular business hours. Showed up at almost 10am today and they were closed.

I went on a Saturday again and it was clean, the line moved quickly and the woman working there was polite, efficient and friendly. Post offices rarely get praised and this one certainly deserves.

Does not open as posted - I would come 45 minutes after opening.

Waited outside for over ten minutes after opening time and the doors to the building were still locked. No sign posted about delayed opening and no way to call and see if anyone is inside to open the doors

It's 9:47am and the sign on the door and on Google says the hours are 9:30am-5pm and this post office is closed. Lights off and no one is home.

Terrible service. Lines an hour long because there are no employees onsite to help. Packages get lost. Closed in the middle of the week for lunch? Can’t spell “closed”?

This is my new favorite post office. I've worked with Tracey there over two trips to get a post office box. She was patient, informative, and very kind as we worked through the process. The staff here is always pleasant and, while ready to engage each customer, makes the trip quick, too.
