Update your USPS website. Wasting people’s time, USPS says they do take walk in appointments but then on the door they have a paper saying they don’t.

I am a huge supporter of USPS and I specifically came to this location because it had better reviews than other USPS locations but I couldn't have been more frustrated with the experience.
I had a passport appointment for 11:15am and I arrived around 7 minutes early. I checked in with the woman at the register and she told me to take a seat. By 11:20am no one had come to start my process. I went back to the front register and asked if someone was coming to do my appointment, they said yes.
It wasn't until my passport appointment time had expired that someone came out to take care of me (passport appointments are in 15 minute increments).
To add insult to injury, the 11:30am passport appointment came in and they paused my processing to take of them after I had been waiting over 15 minutes for my appointment.
I could not believe the unprofessionality. I did not have a good experience. Also, I suggest taking your photo at home because they will not take a good photo for you.
I am well aware of the lack of funding for USPS and I support our postal workers but this location was truly disappointing.

I’ve been coming to this location every month, and while the location is really convenient, my experience has been repeatedly tarnished by the unprofessional behavior of one of the front desk staff members, Diana (or Dian). Every time I interact with her, she is consistently rude and dismissive. What makes it worse is that I’ve observed her being polite and friendly with other customers before and after me, which makes the situation even more uncomfortable.
On two separate occasions, I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, and she told me there wasn't one available. Today, I had to wait for about 10 minutes just to see if a supervisor was around, and during that time, no staff member asked if I needed anything. Eventually, I had to go to the back of the store to ask for a supervisor. When I did speak with her, she said she would talk to Diana, but that response was not good enough for me. This is not the first time this has happened. Twice, I’ve witnessed other customers actually apologize for Diana’s rude behavior, which should not be the case.
I find this entire situation very frustrating because this location is otherwise perfect for my needs, and I shouldn’t have to consider switching locations due to one person’s poor attitude. I believe Diana’s behavior needs to be addressed, as it’s making me and potentially others uncomfortable.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the customer experience for everyone.

Highly recommend! Really great experience at this USPS. Friendly staff and great service. Located in a super cute area with stores and restaurants and plenty of parking.
Had to wait a bit for the family in front of me getting their passports done but I was next in line and completed it within 10 minutes during walk-in hours. Very happy I was able to do so as I needed expedited service and had gone to another USPS the same morning and had a terrible experience (opened 10 min late, super long line and agent managed to get thru only one family during the entire hour and so everyone else was SOL)

This place was fantastic. They made the change of address so easy. Brandi was terrific. We needed to show an old lease/voter card because the ID didn't match the old address, but that was clearly specified in the online notes. They made this very easy and quick.

The post office is OK in terms of in person service. But I mailed a check from the post office that ended up getting fraudulently altered and several thousand dollars taken from my bank account. A call to the US postal inspector did not yield results. They just said it was another case of check washing and there probably would be no formal investigation or anyone charged with the crime. Don't put anything in the outside mailbox because apparently keys have been made and given to people who don't work for the post office. Go inside if you have to mail something.

This is by far my favorite post office in Arlington! Even though I live in Rosslyn, I most often drive to this post office because of the friendly staff who take extra care to service my Philatelic requests!

Opened mail. Packages returned to sender for no apparent reason. Wrong mail delivered to my mailbox. Mail not delivered to my mailbox for days. Rude front desk. Horrible service.

I have lived all over the country and I do a lot of business with the USPS. This place blows me away with their lack of customer service. I moved to the area recently, and when I explained that I was certain I had the correct postage on my outgoing mailers that I have sent every single month for over three years, because I had a previous post office help me figure out the exact postage, the supervisor flatly asked “why don’t you take these to the other post office then?” Because I moved here from another state! I was shocked at how unfriendly, unhelpful, and unconcerned with listening to or assisting me they were. I only go here because I walk everywhere and this is the closest PO to me.

This is a really decent, helpful place.I have been here several times to send mail to other place. This place always doesn't have a long queue and helpful place. Old white gentleman is really professional and helpful. I really prefer to use this location. stongly recommended
