Wakefield Aquatics Center is a well-maintained public pool that offers reasonable rates and is popular for swimming laps. The staff is noted for being helpful and attentive, ensuring a safe environment for all swimmers. While the pool itself receives positive feedback, the locker rooms are reported to be somewhat neglected and in need of improvement, particularly regarding cleanliness and functionality. Despite these issues, Wakefield Aquatics Center remains a favorite local spot for swimming, with special free swim hours for kids on Saturdays adding to its community appeal.
This is a good-sized and well-maintained indoor pool. Friendly and efficient staff. 4 stars, though, because more than half of the men's showers do not work and the cleaning machine is missing.

I go to the 8:30 AM water aerobics class - Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Wakefield High School. The school staff is great, very helpful. The pool and facilities are well maintained. Karen the instructor is a terrific instructor. I get so much out of this class and enjoy it. It should be advertised better.

A good public pool. Reasonable rates. All the pools around are in high demand.Look for free swim hour for kids on Saturdays.
