Dominion Tire 3237 Wilson BoulevardArlington VA 22201I only see and drive my Shelby GT 350 on weekends. On my way to a Saturday morning appointment, I started the engine and the electronic system alerted me to a completely flat tire (right rear). I used an electric pump to inflate the tire and drove to Dominion Tire (Arlington). The technician examined the tire and discovered an embedded nail. He removed the tire and repaired it while the car was still parked outside in the rain. The car was ready in short order. He handed me the keys and wished me a great day. "How much do I owe?" "Nothing." I was delightfully surprised. "You bought the tires here. We offer free balancing, rotating, and repair for life." A beautiful ending to an unfortunate beginning. Great customer service on every visit.

When I asked an employee If he could help me he said no, I thought he might be kidding so I stood there a second. Then he asked me "what do you want?" In such a rude tone.

I go to this Giant for curbside pickup every couple of weeks or so, and everyone I've crossed paths with there is super friendly and helpful. I've never had an issue with items missing (although they occasionally substitute when they're out of something) and they always bring my order out quickly. Yesterday, on top of bringing out my order in the pouring rain, they left this lovely note in one of my bags!

He careful parking at this Giant store! They hire Advanced Towing to tow cars if you park your car and leave the property. The tow truck operator frequently sits across the street and watches people park their cars and walk off the property. Once they walk off, the tow operator tows.

A malfunctioning self check-out machine debited my card 2x for a single purchase. With employee assistance and advice, we ran my card through 2x since the machine froze, but no completion of purchase was indicated, so my order remained open. Therefore, I said I'd switch to my credit card and did. That charge went through, but unbeknownst to me OR the store employee, I was also debited 2x. She'd asked me to run my card a 3rd time, blaming it on the machine, which was obviously not functioning. Good thing I did not. So, today I'm wasting my valuable time trying to be reimbursed. How many things are wrong with this picture? The company doesn't staff for human check-out, AND has lousy phone options with a first employee who transferred me back into the endless loop of voice recordings -- no human help. Yipes!

Produce is mediocre. Wish they had better apples that weren't bruised and broccoli that wasn't rubbery. Good processed food selection but I wish their healthier foods were better.

I love this Giant Store! They were the first to install plexiglass, wipes and fully implement Covid preventive measures. I feel really safe here. Employee turnover is low. The employees recognize and greet me. The selection is great, especially for seafood, ice cream, juice, tea, kosher goods, etc. In my opinion, Giant has the best bakery of all the supermarket chains. They have the best tiramisu cakes and Boston cream cakes. Elaf, Ben and the rest of team are awesome. This is the only place where the stock clerks actually help you find the brands that you like in yogurt, toilet paper, etc. When I couldn't read the yogurt label expiration dates, the clerk read them out to me! Returns and exchanges are stress free and quick. You can also buy your EasyPass at the service desk. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, kind and excellent. This was the first place where I could find reasonably priced toilet paper and tissue in stock. Shopping here is a pleasant experience.

10/3/20 We bought cooked snow crab legs in the seafood department. The discount was about 50%. At home we found that the crab was expired and smelled like ammonia. Such high discount can not justify expired and spoiled products.

Generally well stocked, good service, and adhering to cleaning and social distancing. A convenient "city" location (lot of apartments around this Giant). They have staffs outside the entrance to "direct traffic" and to wipe down carts. Before I even picked up a cart, he came over to say let me wipe it for you first. Everyone wore face masks. It is certainly reassuring. It's clean and well lit inside. I saw staff spraying disinfectant on empty shelves and on the floor from time to time. Shoppers wore face masks and generally adhere to social distancing rules. For the first time since March I saw the shelves full of toilet papers. The sight is a relief. It is a sign some kind of new normal is emerging. The toilet paper panic buy is finally over. Their seafood department is small but adequate. The meat department does not exist (not for cut to order stuff); there are simply packaged frozen meat products on the freezer. Still fresh though. Lot of different types of yogurt, produce, veggies, dry products (cans).

The staff in seafood department named Joey has been nothing but helpful and courteous to us on a Friday night. He was above and beyond in helping us to get what we "want" while Joey was trying to close the shop. He didn't have to serve us but he did it with a huge smile and kindness. He deserves a recognition for his work ethics.

A large store with just about everything you need for your grocery shopping and more. Aisles are well-laid out. I want to THANK Brian and Rebecca for taking care of a problem I'd encountered in one of the departments last week. They were professional, courteous and got onto the problem and its solution immediately. Thank you!!

My biggest complaint about this store was just how crowded it was on a Saturday in the early afternoon. The aisles are not that wide so it was difficult to maneuver through with a regular sized cart. I was disappointed they didn't have more caramel apple pie yogurt or mashed sweet potato and carrots Like my preferred Giant. They did have a pretty nice bakery and prepared foods selection. They definitely need more of the self-checkout lines that don't have a conveyor belt. It's so inconvenient to not have the bag right next to the scanner especially when there is no staff to help bag. Parking is very tight too, but, luckily I got one of the last spots available. I chose this location because it was too close to pass up. Unfortunately I found their protein options lacking so I had to supplement by going to Harris Teeter which cost me a lot in time. Even if in the area, I'll pass and head to my preferred Giant location next time.

I love this store. It has a variety of healthy food aisles. I can pick up items such as brewers yeast flakes, tofu and international items without stopping at Whole Foods. The meat counter is clean and has a variety of salads. The employees are happy to let you sample items. The produce area is decent. The bakery area has fresh choices. You can use your phone number if you forget your Giant shopper card.
