Pharmacy technician I spoke with was incredibly rude and short on the phone with me when I explained my urgent need for insulin and told me it would be three days and to call other locations to see if they had any in stock as she wasn't able to see inventory of other CVS pharmacies on any medication. Come to find out, from another CVS location where I was finally able to get the one thing that keeps me alive, she lied about that and could in fact look up insulin stock at other places. Wild they don't readily carry insulin in store and the blatant lack of care, respect, and empathy from this woman.

I want to recognize the CVS pharmacy technician (I believe she’s the lead there) for her outstanding customer service. She is always incredibly helpful when navigating my questions, insurance issues, and prescriptions. She is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything is explained clearly. Her customer service is always on point, and she truly makes a difference.

I have visited this CVS location a few times. I've really interacted with a few employees who were nice and helpful, but they didn't seem to know where certain items are located.
The store itself is fairly large. I don't think have actually walked around the store to check out the aisles and sales. I mostly spent time in the toothpaste/toothbrush aisle to pick up the items for which I was placing the mobile order. This time I checked out the travel size items and was impressed to see they have a lot of newer brands. They also sell other brands in full size such as Clinique... then there were Arabian perfums/scents.
There is plenty of parking available, If I do return, I'll be sure to check out the aisles, maybe buy some perfume and look at holiday items!

I am a very frequent CVS shopper and wanted to recognize an outstanding experience I had at the CVS located at Heron Overlook Plaza in One Loudoun, Ashburn, Virginia.
I came in to address an issue with items I had purchased online through PayPal, including a hydrogen peroxide and a mouthwash where I later noticed the safety seals were broken. Because the purchase was made through PayPal, the return and exchange process was more complicated than a standard in-store return.
Once the store manager, Imran, stepped in, the experience completely turned around. He was patient, attentive, and genuinely committed to resolving the situation. When one option did not work, he calmly suggested alternatives and walked me through each possibility without frustration or rushing. Ultimately, he ensured the issue was handled fairly with an even exchange.
What stood out most was his professionalism and empathy. I do not enjoy returning or exchanging items, but broken seals are a legitimate concern. Imran handled everything with diligence, respect, and a clear focus on customer care. He went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied.
Companies like Amazon built their reputation through an obsession with customer service. That same level of care is exactly what Imran demonstrated. CVS is fortunate to have him. He is a true asset to the company and deserves recognition and advancement.
I rarely leave reviews unless the experience is exceptional or extremely poor. This experience was exceptional, and CVS should take note and reward employees like Imran who truly represent the brand the right way.

Really bad service even store manager is rude and doesn’t even know how to do their job so I suggest go to a new store if you care about service

It was very easy to order online and then I had easy access to pick up my order.

Terrible customer service on the pharmacy counter. We usually go to another location which did not have our medication available at the moment, CVS app offered to choose a different location, I clicked the nearest one and sent my mom to pickup. The nasty lady on the counter had a terrible attitude, she could have chosen a more customer service oriented language to say she was closed for lunch. Something HAS to change.

Worst pharmacy. Pharmacy staff are incompetent, can’t deal with insurance correctly, are unhelpful, and rude at times. I am going to be transferring all of my prescriptions somewhere else if this continues.

Clean store but no cell phone service with either Verizon or T-Mobile forced me to walk outside to even access the CVS app to add coupons and savings and access my barcode then walk back in the store - total time waster. Install a microcell or improve the WiFi - which by the way didn’t work either. CVS employee acknowledged the problem and advised me to go outside. Are you kidding!?

DON'T ORDER PHOTOS FROM HERE. Ordered a photo book that I spent hours making on the CVS app. I went to pick it up from another Ashburn CVS, and it wasn't even a photobook - it was just pages. The person there said they have new people who don't know what they're doing and keep breaking the printer. So instead, I sent it to this location! Upon pickup, the photobook was terrible quality. Smudges on every page, things were printed evenly, etc. The staff there said it was the best they could do and showed in the trash multiple versions that looked even worse! CVS needs to shut down its photo ordering website, you are wasting everyone's time.
