We held a Rehearsal Dinner at Founders Hall and it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
We hosted 100 people. The food was catered. We brought our own beer, wine, water & sodas.
Truly, everything went exactly as I had hoped!
We LOVE Founders Hall! I was so proud of the beautiful site for the dinner.
The space is wonderful! It has a great sound system. We played music right off of our phone. They also had a microphone which we used. They had ice on site, refrigerators and even food warmers. And there is lots of parking.
The bathrooms are also very nice.
I would highly recommend Founders Hall!

This venue is a hidden gem!! We hosted a 50th birthday party here for about 100 guests, it was spacious, elegant, convenient and had everything we needed. The price is reasonable compare to all other similar venues in DMV area.
Christie, is very professional and very informative. Made the planning so much easier and smoother.
Too many great things to mention in one review. Everyone had a great time!

Founders Hall @ AVFRD hosted our veterans group for dinner, Saturday May 3rd, 2025 and they EXCEEDED our expectations! We had 130 total travelers, of which 65 were veterans, many in wheelchairs. The access/accomodations were great! Booking was easy with Christie Q's help and she coordinated all pre-event logistics with our caterer, Mission BBQ. We arrived to a warm welcome from the team of firefighters, the ladder truck hung a massive American Flag at the entrance, and the tables were setup with American flag table cloths. Every detail was covered. Thank you to the AVFRD team and Founders Hall. We can't wait to come back for a future event! They truly made us feel welcome!

This was a great space for the baby shower we held there. The space was clean and spacious. The tables and chairs were in excellent condition and easy to set up and put away. Christie was fantastic to liaison with, she was very helpful day of and responded promptly to any emails prior to the event. I highly recommend this venue for any event!!

I HIGHLY recommend AVFRD! We rented the room for my daughter's 4th birthday. I wanted to do something slightly different than the typical indoor play places. The hall itself is HUGE and allows the creativity to decorate with cool themes. The whole hall is modern and up to date (bluetooth speakers allowed us to play music throughout).
Christie was super easy to work with and provided us with some awesome vendors (funfortotsva) and it was an awesome day! Austin was the firefighter that did the demo/showed the kids the fire engine and that was a HUGE hit! there were a TON of kids that were so excited to drive the fire engine. We got to see a real call go out and that was exciting for the kids too.
Everyone at the firehouse (Magana, Kevin, Cynthia, etc) were so accommodating and helpful. 5/5 stars would DEFINITELY recommend!!!

Holding my daughters’ graduation party at Founders Hall was the best decision! Ms. Quijano was very helpful and professional while the space was both clean and bright! We will be renting this space in the future!

We had a great time at Founder’s Hall for my son’s 1st birthday. Communication from the beginning to the end was amazing! All questions were answered very quickly. All our guests loved the location and were surprised to see a place they had never heard of.

We had the best birthday party for my 3 year old at AVFRD. Firefighter Doug was wonderful and went above and beyond to teach the kids all about fire safety and tour the trucks and ambulance. Highly recommend, awesome venue for a kids birthday.

We hosted a banquet for a High School swim team at Founders Hall. The facility manager, Christie, was wonderful to work with. Very responsive and answered all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable and showed us how to work all aspects of the facility. This is newly renovated so the room is nice, spacious and has a great sound system and projector for slide shows. All that made this the perfect venue for us! Would definitely book again.

Christie was very helpful and warm to help us do the tour and answer any questions. The place is quite enough for almost 200 people party, and they have almost everything you need for a party or meeting, easy to check in and check out, we will for sure to be back in the future.

My wife and I had the pleasure of holding our wedding reception at Founders Hall. The hall is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for any occasion, with awesome amenities such as on-site tables, chairs, sound system, full service kitchen, and bar. Christie and Leah from AVFRD were incredible hosts, providing endless support to ourselves, our caterer, DJ, and setup team, responding promptly when we had any questions, and going above and beyond to help make the room beautiful.
