Recently hit this location for some fencing, barbed wire, and a new he-shed. Steve/Stephen did a great job guiding me in the right direction with my needs for this project. My son and Drew (my daughter's boyfriend) are going to love our new man cave -- Drew may never want to leave after he sees it! Only thing we forgot is an outdoor lock. See you soon Steve!

I wanted to take a moment to commend Leighanne, the store manager, for providing customer service that went far above and beyond my expectations. I had ordered a covered trashcan with wheels online, but unfortunately, it arrived without the lid. When I called the store to report the issue, Leighanne informed me that a replacement delivery couldn’t be arranged for that day.(and the replacement trash can did not have lids either).
However, she didn’t stop there. Instead, Leighanne offered—entirely on her own time and after her regular work hours—to personally deliver the replacement trashcan (an upgraded version) to ensure the issue was resolved quickly.
While I certainly wouldn’t expect any manager to routinely go to such lengths, the fact that Leighanne did this, speaks volumes about her dedication to customer satisfaction and her exceptional character.
Her actions exemplify outstanding customer service and genuine care. This experience not only resolved my immediate concern but also left a lasting impression. It’s service like this that turns a one-time shopper into a loyal, returning customer.
Thank you, Leighanne, for your incredible support—you truly blew me away!

This is my go-to home depot. The staff is very helpful and the store itself is very well maintained. I highly recommend getting the app to find item locations to save on them.
I mainly come in for lumber and 5gal water refills and they are always well stocked.
I also prefer the layout of this store compared to others, such as the Fairfax or Leesburg locations.
Their are 4 self check out lanes and physical credit card is required.

This one time we had a not-so-pleasant experience with a chain saw rental. Other than that it’s usually ok.
Update 06/07/24: This location as well as a few around sell hundreds of RYOBI products. But RYOBI has the worst after sales service. Not to mention the poor product quality. Just after one season my 40v lawn mower won't start. To reach RYOBI customer support was painful. They usually have a couple of hours wait time. Sure they have call back facility but if you miss the call its another half day. Email may be an option which I have not experimented afraid of much longer delays. Service under warranty is a nightmare. For a brand serving such a huge market in Ashburn area with multiple stores, their service locations are far and few. And every RYOBI service location has its own rules as to what they repair. The closest service location to Ashburn for battery operated lawn mower is about an hour away neatly tucked in WV. So be prepared to take half a day off from work to drop off. And save the other half for pick-up. Such poor warranty service is partly Home Depots fault and definitely reflects bad on the store as they stock and sell hundreds of RYOBI products.
On the other hand I had a similar problem with my power washer (Sun Joe) - won't start. They asked me to try a few things during my chat online which failed to rectify the machine upon which they sent me a brand new replacement. Now, that's exemplary of standing behing your product. Not RYOBI's poor support / service. And by selling such products HomeDepot is doing a disservice to the customers of this locality.
