I'm sure they are fine as a home Depot hardware store, but I have found the customer service lacking in their ancillary programs such as the kids workshop. They consistently give away your kids kit even after forcing everyone to register online. When approaching management about the situation they were rude and uninterested in improving the situation. I will move my purchases to Lowe's and online from now on.Edit: For anyone that wants to ensure they can get the project they registered for I just finished looking into Lowe's program. They guarantee the project you registered for until 1 p.m. and they actually seem to have a better program giving rewards to kids that complete 6 or 12 projects each year. I'll be trying out their program now.

I live close to this HD and I'm there at least once a week to buy something. Today I was there with my 3 yr old and I had over $300 worth of stuff in my cart.On my way to the register my kid noticed other kids with orange smocks and a kit in their hand. She wanted one, so I headed to the kids workshop. I proceed to fill out a registration form like most people in line and the lady "in charge" asks me if I registered online. I said no, and she just said that they can't give me a kit because I didn't do so. I stepped away and observed, wondering why other people can fill out the paper form and I had to do it online. I approached her again and asked, her answer was that those are check-in forms and not registration forms, and they clearly say registration on them and it's the same form as rhe online one. I continued observing and noticed that there was no indication of any sort of verification being done, so how do they know if someone is not lying?Mind you, I have a 12 year old and we'vedone over 30 of these workshops, I was never turned away no matter how busy it was.I thought that was ridiculous, that kit can't be more than 50 cents to make, and I'm buying over $300 worth of stuff.I go to the a "manager" and he tells me this story about a glitch in their system, not surprising since their app sucks, and it took 538 registrations while they only had 262 kits, very precise numbers so it sounds legit, and tough luck buddy. It's not my problem that you overbooked; the website says while supplies last, what guarantees do you have that everyone will show up, and what's one less kit at this point, but that takes some thinking.I was surprised by his answer, I left my cart there and decided right then and there that I will never buy from HD again. I'm an avid DIYer and I spent literally thousands of dollars at this HD over the past 10 years.HD, you are the Kmart of home improvement stores, this is a nice neighborhood and you don't belong here. Lowe's is more like a Target, which is more appropriate for this area. Lowe's, if you're reading this, build one in Ahburn and you won't regret it.Cheers!!

Stopped at the Ashburn Home Depot today and was truly amazed. The store was spotless clean, well stocked and organized, And customer services was world class - unbelievable like you experience in Dubai or Singapore, or resorts in Thailand. Truly friendly, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and intelligent store associates - throughout the entire store. I was shocked because I usually go to the Rhode Island Avenue Home Depot store in DC near me. I'll just say that the Ashburn store was a completely different experience.

Over the years, my family has bought thousands of dollars of items from Home Depot, but sadly, we will not be buying there again. I have property in another state and had purchased a $400 push lawnmower. (These cheap mowers used to be around $99). The first time I used it several parts fell off; the air filter and cover, and the knob that holds the handle on. A rear discharge required the use of a bag, unfortunately. Even with an empty bag, the mower still puked cut grass out of the right front wheel area. I took my receipt and my 5-week old gas mower to Home Depot for a refund. I was told I could not return my gas mower because my 30-days had expired. (Remember this property is six hours away so mowing was done every two weeks). However, the rude saleswoman told me had I purchased an electric mower I would have had 90 days to "possibly" get my refund. An ugly argument ensued and I walked out with a store credit which was short of the total payment by nearly $50. During the argument, the rude woman kept saying "buyer's remorse" but clearly, the product was substandard. I disagree Home Depot can't take items back; paint cans that clearly says it can not be returned is sitting in the paint area with a new sales price on the returned cans. While I was being chastised, I had to remind the rude woman that if the former Home Depot CEO can receive a $210 million dollar severance package then they can take back my cheap $400 lawn mower. Dear Home Depot Team,I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by your Manager, Bryan, and Sales Associate, Josh, during my recent visit to your store. From the moment I walked in, Josh greeted me with a warm smile and was very attentive to my needs. He listened to my questions and concerns and provided me with expert advice on the products that I was interested in purchasing. He also went above and beyond to ensure that I found everything I needed and made sure that I had a positive shopping experience.I also had the pleasure of interacting with Bryan, who was equally as helpful and professional. He took the time to answer my questions and provided me with valuable insights on the products that I was interested in. He also gave me a tour of the store and showed me some of the latest products that I might be interested in.Overall, my experience at Home Depot was nothing short of exceptional, and it was all thanks to the amazing customer service provided by Josh and Bryan. Their professionalism, expertise, and willingness to go above and beyond truly stood out to me, and I will definitely be returning to the store for my future home improvement needs.Thank you, Josh and Bryan, for your outstanding service!

In my opinion, I believe I could have good prices here.I like Home Depot. If there are other warehouses where I can buy bulk price materials, I could consider it.

Wish I could give zero stars. I paid $286 for Home Depot's "professional installation services" of a new dishwasher, including $30 for an "installation parts kit". Yet no one asked me anything about measurements for my installation ahead of time, and when the installer came a week later, it took him 30 seconds to say he couldn't install the dishwasher, as it came with a drain hose that was too short, and he had no other parts in the truck. Which meant I had to drive to the local Home Depot to buy the necessary parts, and the installer won't be back to install it for another week. And the Ashburn Home Depot mgr made the excuse that the installers aren't Home Depot employees, yet there are placards all around the store saying "Ask about Home Depot professional installation services".Home Depot's installers then made TWO MORE trips to my house - each one was a comedy of errors, each time determining a need for parts they didn't have. Finally canceled the order & got my money back. Never again.

The business does not care about the noise restrictions placed to all businesses and house holds from 10pm-6am. Nearly every night their forklift drives around at night with safety beepers blaring which you can hear in a closed apartment across the street. Multiple complaints have done nothing. Please reconsider shopping at a store that violates and disturbs regular everyday citizens from living peacefully.
