Such a shame what has happened to this store. I used to shop here regularly but no longer. The non self-checkout registers are never open. The store is a dirty mess. The floor especially is disgusting. Lidl is obviously not investing in the store or adequate staffing. Well they are investing in one thing, gates which require you to scan your self-checkout receipt to exit the store. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. I have continued to do some shopping here out of habit after almost everyone else I know stopped going, but this is the end.

I have been a loyal and frequent customer of this Lidl store. I like the foods in this shop: they are low price and good quality.
But that new male south Asian cashier was rude.

I cant believe they added a gate to go out and made shoppers scan the receipt. Very enoying customer experience. Please tell Lidl managemen that Not every idea is an improvement.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this Lidl location for many years and have always appreciated the store’s quality and value. However, I’d like to share some feedback regarding the self-checkout area. The space is quite tight, making it difficult to navigate—especially when using a large cart. Today, I found myself having to squeeze between other customers who were checking out, as there wasn’t enough room to pass comfortably without moving someone else’s cart.
I also noticed that while the store has seven cashier lanes, typically only one is open. If possible, it might be beneficial to remove one of the cashier lanes to create more space for the self-checkout area. This adjustment would make the checkout process smoother and more comfortable for all customers.

Very good store. The main issue is they don’t have cashiers I bought $300, I was 40 minutes scanning and accommodating the groceries on the car back. I asked for a cashier several times, the non cashier told me that they will only open if I pay cash. Probably I only come back if a buy a couple of things. It is not worth it all the money I spent if I need to do everything myself. By the way most of the staff was not doing anything.

Store used to be nice. Over the years it’s getting trashy. I guess corporate thinks the store is big so they send a lot of junk. There are shippers and random items all over the place. It’s so full of stuff that it’s getting hard to walk in there. You’ll start tripping over the junk. I mean there’s so much stuff it’s falling into the isles and no one is fixing it.
They’ve also almost completely gone to self checkout. The lines get long and you can’t get anyone to scan a 30+ item cart. They just stare at you. The other Lidl location in Ashburn, while smaller, is much cleaner and friendlier for shoppers.

I only have a few negative reviews about businesses, and unfortunately, this store is one of them. I visit the bread section either in the morning or evening, and it’s always a mess. How can you sell unpackaged bread in such an unsanitary environment? I can’t help but wonder how many bacteria people are exposed to because of this. The cut bread box is always open and dirty, and there are papers scattered on the floor throughout the day and evening. This needs to be addressed.

We got everything we where looking for, love it.
But our experience when we check out was very bad 👎 we got a full cart and the cashier was rushing us to move out his way to get another shopper it is unacceptable to bag everything by ourselves!

Assistant store manager was friendly, attentive, and engaging! I believe his name was Ardhi. I was looking for a product that was out of stock and he had helped me locate a similar one, he was very apologetic and nice about the issue. The store was super clean and organized as well, compared to some other Lidls I’ve been to. It is run very well, I’ll be back!
