We are currently working with MAC design+build on a kitchen remodel and they have been amazing to work with from the beginning. They were able to design a kitchen that we had not even been able to envision before meeting with them. Our design team, Derek, Justin, Giovanna and Christine are not only fun and easy to work with but they are so creative. I was very nervous about picking out the different options for our remodel. I get easily overwhelmed especially with so many materials and products to choose. Christine and Giovanna worked with me step-by-step so that I was comfortable with every decision that I made and I felt confident with my choices. Our project manager on site is Russell and I can not say enough good things about him. He answers all my questions promptly and has kept me posted on every step of the project. We are living at the house during the renovation and the teams that come to work on the house have been respectful and friendly. I would definitely recommend MAC design+build to anyone who is looking to remodel their home.

The MAC team is second to none when it comes to home design. The team was able to envision, design, render and develop architectural plans that transformed my front-to-back split level into a new home. The team (Derek, Justin, Crystal and Giovanna) was professional and creative throughout the detailed design process for a new kitchen, two bathrooms, and indoor/outdoor living space. If you are struggling to envision your remodel I would highly recommend MAC. The build is underway and I hope to share continued positives on the finished build.

I have been working with Derek and his team for over 2 years (before we found our property) to design and build our dream home. We just broke ground and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We were looking for a small volume custom home builder to hold our hand with this massive investment and provide personal attention. That has been our exact experience to date. From the 1-on-1 design processes to permitting and now construction the entire process could not have happened without Mac’s experience and resources. Answering a ton of questions (including the random Sunday morning one!), providing great advice, solving challenges as they come and working with our budget has all been a great collaboration. Great access to the owner has been awesome and his experience on all topics has been extremely helpful. We can’t wait to see this home come alive in the next year!

MAC Design is a fantastic company to work with. Starting with their design team, they were able to propose innovative and beautiful design options within budget. For the construction, their team was on time and on budget. They professionally supervised the entire project alongside the design team to ensure that the project was flawless. Their trade partners were top-tier, and every day, the job was left clean and organized. We were kept informed every step of the way. They have a great sales team, designers and estimators. The interaction with Justin O’Connell at the beginning of the project was always smooth and he answered all of my questions. They are top notch at what they do, and have a high level of quality, knowledge and customer service.

We completely remodeled our master bath and closet, and retiled a guest bath with MAC. They, by far, gave us the best design for our space we could find! They managed to make the bathroom more functional AND give us a bigger closet within the existing square footage.We started with a different designer that ended up leaving the company for a different job before we demo-ed, but Allison came in and took the reins. She was incredible! Can’t give her enough praise! She was extremely organized and efficient, conscious of our budget, and just had a great eye for design and style. She was always on top of everything and was just a pleasure to work with. She helped me make decisions when I was stuck and her suggests really made the space pop and look amazing. We are very happy with the new space! If you chose MAC, ask for Allison!!The reason for 4/5 stars was due to the fact the project took nearly 2x as long as we expected bc there were a lot of delays and lulls.

We are about halfway through our major construction project of two additions at the same time. The MAC team has been guiding us through the process all along, starting at the initial meeting with Derek Leiter when we explained the vision for our family home. The design really wowed us. We felt like they understood what we wanted and incorporated our must-haves in the planning. Justin O'Connell worked with our budget, and answered our questions regarding the cost breakdown. Allison Ugarte designed a beautiful kitchen and two bathrooms, and I appreciated her help shopping in person for the lighting, plumbing and stone/tile. Thus far during construction, Dave Stone and Angelique Dupree have been responsive to our concerns and Elizabeth Litke has been maintaining an organized timeline to keep everyone on schedule. Her weekly project update emails are helpful to know where we are and what's ahead next. We are very excited to see the completed project! Highly recommend the MAC team!

When we decided to remodel our kitchen this year (2024), we interviewed seven design-build firms and asked three to come and visit our kitchen. We selected MAC Design-Build based upon their creative design that allowed us to look at all of the options in the new kitchen. Caitlin Gilhuys provided a design that turned a kitchen remodel into a work of art. Her mix of colors and textures were superb. But a kitchen remodel is not simply a design. MAC’s project management and quality workmanship took the entire project to a new level. Derek Leiter and David Stone lead an exceptional design-build team. I strongly recommend MAC Design-Build and particularly recommend Caitlin as a designer.
