Fantastic place. My kids have been at a few daycares and this is the best we’ve been to, hands down. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and very loving towards the kids. Here is a teaching curriculum the teachers follow and they do a great job keeping up with the current research and best teaching practices. The additional focus on God, Christianity, and praise is a huge plus. In a world of uncertainty, I trust my children in the hands of this school. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately a few years ago we had a really poor experience with Open Arms Preschool’s summer camp. We enrolled our son for camp hoping to prepare him for preschool & upon picking him up on the first day of camp one of the Open Arms employees who had been helping with his classroom that day, asked me while she was helping him in the car “does he receive services?” . That of course caught me a bit off guard , was a question on the intake forms to which I marked “no” and I asked her if she was referring to his speech, to which she replied “well anything.”The fact that this happened two summers ago and is still carved into my mama heart has made me feel obligated to post this review. As a mother sending her child to a school setting for the first time & after a crazy pandemic, that crushed me. I hope that no other parent has experienced that or will experience hearing something so harshly asked to you about your child. I had never met this employee, I had not even had much interaction with the school at this point & that was how the situation was approached.I did immediately, that day follow up with the employee and the director just to get more clarity and then followed up after I received a response that “she just wanted to help”, to unenroll him. As a parent of a daughter with special needs in LCPS ECSE program, I hope training has been or can be implemented to help employees of Open Arms with their sensitivity and understanding of better ways to communicate regarding concerns for a child. It also takes more than one interaction to learn a 3 year old.I believe is something has stayed on my heart this long, and the face that I did address it with the school, I should probably leave a review.

Trustworthy, loving teachers and staff. You can tell the teachers love what they do...and your children!

This is the best out there. I don't ever give anything 5 stars, but if I did then this place would. They have a great atmosphere and the caregivers genuinely care about the children as individuals. The turnover rate is very low, there are the same teachers there from 7 years ago. They have good communication and are accommodating.
