The new store seems to be bigger than the old location. They also have a veterinary service in house and their cat adoption section is a more permanent facility. Two negatives in my mind. 1) it would make more sense to have the cat adoption on the same side of the building as the cat food. The way it is now, the cats are at one end and the cat food is completely at the opposite end of the building. And 2) they seem to be having issues with their registers. Each time I've checked out, the receipt never prints out. They have to go back into the system and force a receipt to print... And since the system doesn't update immediately, you have to wait a couple of minutes for your receipt to show up for them to get it and reprint it.

Walked in at 8:55 doors were still open and I got my bag of dog food I. 1 minute bit they told me they were closed and wouldn’t sell me the food. Lost my business

I recently visited Pet Supplies Plus in Ashburn and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. They were incredibly helpful in guiding me through their wide selection of pet products.

This store has a good selection of pet supplies. We’ve been shopping here for three years. When we first moved to the area, they encouraged me to sign up for their rewards program. At every checkout, I asked if I could use my rewards. The answer was always, “You don’t have enough points yet”. Come to find out last week, I had thousands of points that expired. And I did not receive a single email.
When my husband and I went to the store and asked about this, the young lady at the check out (Kimberly) said they did not send out any emails about expiring rewards or any other notifications… She had a very disrespectful attitude and had zero intention of helping us. When asked to see a manager, she said she was the manager yet had not offer to assist us.
We want to supper local businesses. But now think it’s better to simply order online via many other sites with better customer service.

Terrible experience. Went to this location a few weeks ago and manager did not know about the recycling program. Was told they do not participate anymore (not true).
When ready to check out , we were ignored by two employees (both saw us waiting). Manager did not delegate the employees and did not seem to know how to use the register. (Manager said they have been working there for a month at that point).
Employees and manager didn’t seem to have customer service skills and made us feel unwanted in the store.
Would recommend the Sterling store instead.

Really used to love pet supplies plus but supply is limited & not consistent. I go there for my dog food and every time it’s one bag left or none at all. Not reliable

We love taking our 11 year old black lab to get her baths there, they have all the supplies, and really good deals on food. Unfortunately, in our last experience, there were 3 staff (2 guys very kind) but one lady very rude and disrespectful. While me and my mom were washing the dog, my husband waited with my 2 year old in the hallway, the lady approached to my husband and ask him in a rude way why he left my son alone. And he was literally next to him. So far is the only issue we have ever had at this store.
