The address changed and is not the one that's in Yelp. New address: 20365 Exchange Street, Phenix suites 211 2nd floor Salon Fusion suite 106, Ashburn VA 20147. Building to your right, looking at the Alamo movies. On the 2nd floor, if using elevators press 2R. Salon Fusion is the second suite to the left. Show up on time! Petra is so sweet, knowledgeable (educated me on the treatment she was giving to another client, recommended options and products for my color) and professional. I think this is the best haircut I've had. Her coffee is super delish (a plus!). She was so easy to talk to. I just can't say enough good things about her and Donna (she washed my hair). Super recommended. Oh! And she sent me home with a chocolate

I went to the new location in ashburn and I had a horrible experience. I could not find the correct building cause there's construction going on. I even called to express my concern. I was overall 12 minutes late and she would not see me because she said she had a 15 min late policy. That policy was never written or expressed to me in the appointment reminder. She was not able to accommodate me until 2.5 hours later. I was only 12 min late and it was my first time there! I would never treat a client like this. Especially first timers. And especially people who had to take off work to come to this appt. Not going back.

I have been a client of Petra's for 20+ years and followed her after she left Nordine and opened her own salon. I always feel comfortable there and she does an amazing cut and color each time I see her. I highly recommend the salon!!

The best experience I ever had at a salon. Well worth the money. Normally I don't have great experiences at the hair salon because I'm allergic to the color and by the time the stylist is ready to blow dry, my scalp is on fire and my skin can't handle the brush or the heat from the dryer. My normal is a wet cut. Also I don't end up loving my color. Not today. If you have sensitive skin this is the place to be. The color products are awesome!! Kari listened to my struggles with color and styling and provided explanations and advice. The color she chose was really nice and she showed me a styling technique. The shampoo service was really nice with a massage chair and a massage to the scalp. Overall great experience. It also happens to be my birthday so it was a nice birthday present to myself. Kari specializes in fine hair which is my hair type and the style she gave me today was really nice. Highly recommend this salon and Kari.

Kari is my hero! I just walked out of Salon Fusion after my first visit and am so glad to finally have found a stylist who listened to what I wanted and executed it so well. A few weeks ago (after having a 2 mediocre cuts over the past six months living in Ashburn) I stopped a women with a fabulous haircut and asked for a recommendation. She recommended Kari at salon fusion bcs she and her two daughters have come here for years. Now I can see why her clients are so loyal! I was going from a long cut to a short cut and unsure about what it would look like. Kari could have been annoyed with me but she was so patient and took time to look through pics and understand what I wanted. Seriously... I'm thrilled.

I went here for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! I went to see Kari, upon recommendation of a friend, and was very pleased. She is definitely very knowledgeable in color, and cutting, and has a very sweet personality to boot. The salon itself is so relaxing in that it is not a zoo like most hair salons are. It is also very clean, and well decorated. I also want to take a second to give the owners props for investing in great shampoo chairs: the chairs are the best chairs I've ever laid in! They lift up so you are almost lying flat, taking so much pressure off of your neck. Usually I'm counting the seconds until my shampoo is over, because the chairs are so uncomfortable, but not at this place! The shampoo lady Angie gives a great shampoo/head massage too, which is nice. Overall I was very pleased with everything, from my stylist, to the atmosphere, to the people. The front desk receptionist and owner were also very sweet... no salon snobbiness here! If you are looking for a new place, give Kari a try at Salon Fusion...I do not think you will be disappointed. I paid $155 for color, cut, blow dry and flat iron. Maybe a slight bit higher than other places, but i'd rather spend that and be happy with the results of my hair and the overall experience then pay less and be unhappy.

I have followed Petra for about 15 years now. I would never let anyone else touch my hair. Her color knowledge is more than extensive. She listens to what I say, knows my personality and I always come out feeling and looking great. The salon itself is lovely! It is modern, bright and extremely comfortable. Everyone is terribly friendly, unassuming and very professional. My son (19) and daughter (17) go there now too and have built their own relationship with Molly.

I followed my stylist, Taylor, to this salon as she relocated a few months ago. I've now been twice, and Iike the salon. As the other reviewers stated, it can be easy to miss as it's on the backside of the shopping center. First, let me say, Taylor has been my stylist for about 7 years and she's freaking amazing!!! She knows my hair and I love anything she does to it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! What I love about the salon is that it's not too big and not crazy busy as some salons can be and then you feel like you're being rushed through your service. The lady at the front desk (I didn't get her name) is SO SO SO sweet and very pleasant - she was a delight to chat with and made me smile. Try this salon if you're in need of one!

I must say that out of all the salons that I've been to to get a haircut, the staff at Salon Fusion have been the best. From the shampoo -- those chairs that massage you from top to bottom and Zoey who does the best hair wash and head massage--to the hair stylist (Taylor SP?) (I'm sure the others are just as talented) who took a chance and recommended that I let her take control and do what she wanted with my hair. (Let me tell you, this is one time I didn't mind letting a woman take control of me-HA!) She totally changed my look for the better and took off some years. I have a strong background in business management and organizational theory and one of the main attributes I look for in a business is customer service and quality of product and staff. Without a doubt, I can attest to the fact that Salon Fusion is staffed with stellar personnel and the customer service is excellent! I called about 15 minutes after I decided that I wanted to get a haircut and they accommodated me and it was 30 minutes before they closed. So, after this long diatribe---I recommend this place without hesitation. And I tell you what--I'm going back for the shampoo every week whether I need it or not. Hoooorahhhhh!

Salon Fusion can easily be missed, hidden in the Regal Plaza of Sterling next to Cold Stone Creamery, but is a treasure that should be tested. Petra and Wendy founded Salon Fusion back in December of 2008 and have created an amazing establishment. Both were previously located at Salon Nordine in Reston but branched off on their own and developed Salon Fusion. They devote their skills and knowledge to ensuring all their customers are not only satisfied, but leave feeling more beautiful than when they came in. I personally, have been seeing Petra since their opening and have never left disappointed. She makes every effort to create the colors I request, which is not an easy task. They also keep an excellent record of what they do each time you visit, as far what type of cut you requested, to the color mixtures they used. This is especially useful when you are attempting a color change and not quite sure what you looking for. They also offer periodic Botox Parties with bagel and lox treats. I agree that the only downside are the prices. However, compared to other upscale Hair Salons in the Northern VA area, they are within range. I am on an EXTREMELY tight budget and still shell out the bucks because the results are worth it.

I've tried many places before settling on Bubbles in DTC. However, I happened across the listing for Salon Fusion via Yelp. 3 words - LOVE THIS PLACE!! Lisa, stylist/artist, is absolutely amazing. Everyone in the place is friendly and hilarious, you feel like you're right at home -- if you come from dysfunctional family. :). They will have you cracking up your entire stay. The only downside? Price! Its definitely pricey - at least for those on a budget. But "you get what you pay for" -- and that would be fantastic hair and color! Salon Fusion is a hit!
