“We had our child in Winwood (Redeemer Ter.) from 4 months of age till he reached Kindergarten at about 5.5 years. Winwood has been a great experience for our child, who learned to walk, talk, and do pre-school activities at this school. All his teachers have been very kind and loving throughout our stay, that it was more like a family than a “day care”. We appreciate all the efforts of Ms. Tish, the school director, to remain open in a safe manner during COVID, and taking care of any concerns in a prompt manner. We highly recommend Winwood at Redeemer Terrace!”

They have absolutely thrived in their caring and nurturing environment.During the most challenging times of our toddlers acting out, throwing tantrums, misbehaving, etc. the teachers and entire staff have been nothing but encouraging, helpful, and supportive.Both of our kids love to go to school to learn, play, socialize, and grow with their friends.Lori and Angela will go above and beyond to ensure our kids are cared for and will return communications even during off hours.We would recommend Winwood, especially the Creighton branch, to anyone who is looking for exceptional care.”

“I am so genuinely happy with this school. Our daughter is 3 and in the 'Seahorse' class with Ms. Priscilla and Ms. Chakri, who have been providing our toddler with some of the best education she's gotten in a daycare since she started going. The academic program they use with the kids works, and well. My heart nearly exploded from joy to hear my kid at such a young age come home and talk about gravity and force, or to get excited about math and reading.I HIGHLY recommend this specific location to everyone in the Ashburn area. I can't imagine changing schools, even if we moved. The hours of operation are perfect, even down to the times they serve breakfast. In the past, it was common for breakfast to stop being served before we ever got there - but Ms. Chakri *always* makes sure the kids are given the opportunity to eat. Ms. Priscilla is a great educator and every child in the Seahorse class absolutely loves her. “I'm thrilled to recommend this school to parents seeking an alternative to public elementary education. My daughter has had an exceptional experience at this school, and the teachers and staff have been outstanding.One of the events that impressed me was the "Heroes from History" presentation. It was amazing to see how the elementary students researched a hero from history and presented it on stage to the entire school and parents. This kind of public speaking is usually not taught until later in middle or high school, but the school encourages students to develop their skills from a young age.The teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education beyond academics. Specifically, Ms. Nicki and Ms. Laurie are fantastic teachers devoted to their student's success.Academically, Guidepost Montessori offers a solid program that allows students to learn while having fun. The work is engaging and keeps children interested in learning. Given the excellent child-to-teacher ratio, our daughter can get the attention she needs to excel academically. The teachers are always available to answer questions and provide support. The school also ensures that parents are in the loop with transparent communication and "watch me work" sessions.The staff members, Mr. James, Ms. Libby, and Ms. Melissa, also plan exciting events and activities that keep the children engaged throughout the year and are all very kind. The school also strongly emphasizes transparent communication, which has been invaluable in keeping me informed about my daughter's progress.I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking an alternative to public elementary education. “I can’t say enough wonderful things about HOPE Preschool! Both of my kids went. It’s bitter sweet that my youngest is in his last year there. The teachers and administrators are so sweet and nice. Every morning they greet the kids with a smile. Academically, the school does an amazing job making sure the kids are well prepared for kindergarten. They also have opportunities for after school programs such as lunch bunch and both art and science programs. The school puts on a cute puppet show once a month which focuses on the monthly bible verse. They also collect items that are needed for the community like diapers and food. HOPE is so much more than a preschool.I also love that they have a car line for drop off and pick up, that was very useful when my first child was going there and I had my youngest who was always napping for pickup. I can’t recommend the school enough and have encouraged many friends to send their kids to HOPE. I can see why they’ve been a treasured part of the community for over 25 years now.”

“During the Fall-Winter session, my son had a wonderful experience at this place. He learned a lot and we were impressed with the teachers and staff who were caring and kind individuals. I want to specifically mention Mrs. Janet, who made a significant impact on my son. In the mornings, my son, still adjusting to being a new kid, would sometimes fuss about staying there when I dropped him off. However, with Mrs. Janet, he had no trouble and just happily stayed with her. She always made sure to give him her full attention when he walked through the door. We truly appreciate her. He has proven himself to be an experienced caregiver that one can rely on. He is very patient and energetic! We appreciate his patience, enthusiasm, and extraordinary service.
