Choosing a daycare was one of the biggest decisions for our family, and I took the process very seriously. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I wasn’t under any pressure to enroll my daughter quickly. Our daughter started at 14 months old, and watching her thrive has been the greatest confirmation that we made the right choice. She gets so excited to see her teachers each morning, and it’s obvious that they genuinely love and care for her. As a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is happy, safe, and truly loved while you’re apart.

“I absolutely love this place. I have been going here now since my daughter was 1 year old and she’s almost 4 now! They are exceptional and the director Melissa and her team Akia and Ms. Evelyn who are there in the office as well helping out whenever. Everyone I mean everyone is amazing all the teachers are happy and you can see they are genuine with their love! They truly care and my daughter is thriving ! She was quiet and shy and in this place she has opened up so much and they have taught her so much! She truly is happy and wants to go to school all the time even weekends haha. I truly can’t say enough about them I’m so glad we choose them and I have a peace of mind when I’m away I never have to worry. The teachers have been great as well they are so knowledgeable ! They basically potty trained my daughter thank you is never enough! I love all of them !”

“I love this daycare and the staff. The teachers and front desk staff are incredible! And the facility seems new and is very clean. There are multiple playgrounds and a splash pad which my son loves. He comes home every day telling me about what he has learned. They are very focused on education and my son always has a fun. I receive updates and photos regularly, and the staff are very communicative. The hours are also fantastic, it is hard to find a place that is open for 12 hours a day. I cannot recommend this school enough! We are a military family and have been to multiple daycares across multiple states, and this is our favorite!”

From the very beginning, Mrs. Susan has made her feel welcome, safe, and excited to learn. Each day she comes home with stories about the fun activities they did and the new things she discovered. “On Monday afternoon I attended the Summer Kickoff Fest at Guidepost Montessori Broadlands. It was a fun filled event with activities for the children and their families. What a wonderful event! This event had a warm, family feel. The children were so happy and so well mannered. The Head of School, Ms. Desirae Roane, made everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. Her staff did the same. She knew all the children by name and was fixed on making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. There were age appropriate crafts for the children to make with “teacher help” if needed. There were moon bounces, hula hoops, basketball, and many other fun activities. A huge highlight was the soccer field, complete with a few soccer players running drills and games. I was so surprised to see a wonderful petting zoo for the children to enjoy. There were snacks and drinks, a popcorn machine, and music. This event represented a school where children are valued and loved. I had the best time witnessing this event which was done for the families with much hard work, knowledge of child development, dedication and, most importantly, love!❤”

“Ms. Chasity has done and is doing a FANTASTIC job. We’ve been with LPA since our first child was an infant (approaching age 5 now!), and thought highly of it under previous directorship, but when Ms. Chasity came on board, it was clear we didn’t know what we’d been “missing.” It’s so obvious how deeply she cares about the staff, providing a fun, safe, atmosphere full of opportunities for parents and kids to participate in various activities through the year (soccer, cooking club, dance, basketball, class parties/parent activities…the list goes on!), and of course, her care for the students. She (and Ms Randi!) is always a smiling happy face to greet them for the day.

We’ve in fact asked our son if he would like to switch schools to one much, much closer to our home (to avoid 30+ minutes in the car) and he wouldn’t even entertain the idea. LPA is *his* happy place and it doesn’t get much better than that.

Staff retention has also been incredibly consistent since she came onboard, and that says a lot about her leadership.

And special shout out to infant room teacher Ms. J and Asst Dir Ms. Harpreet - two of the longest standing staff members there; so grateful for these two over the past five years! <3 we truly love everyone here, as does our kiddo; we know he’s loved right back!”

“Ashburn Village Kindercare has been our home base for over 4 years now and we highly recommend it for any family looking for a place to not only care for your child, but also be a family. As first time parents during the pandemic, we were nervous about starting daycare, but Ashburn Village Kindercare went above and beyond our expectations. Our infant was getting more 1-1 time and group interactions than they would have at home and we saw significant development in just a short amount of time. We saw them transition thru classrooms, addressing every milestone at their own pace with passionate and committed teachers. We enrolled our second child this year and the entire Center has showered us with support. We appreciate the honest feedback about our children’s interactions and development.
