The gym is on the pricier side, but you do get a lot of amenities for what you're paying for. They've recently added new machines and work quickly to fix the broken machines. Our only complaint has really been related to cancelling the contract due to moving out of the area. You have to provide documentation proving you're moving and will owe 35% of whatever fees are left on your contract. We thought this was a little excessive for a gym membership cancellation, but Jason K. was very helpful regarding our concerns/complaints and helped to get the cancellation request taken care of!

Shady sales techniques and deceiving membership service. They'll try to mislead you into a multi-year contract that cannot be canceled. Even after the contract is up they'll continue to charge you month-to-month and you have to contact another separate company to stop the charges. They'll probably try to defend all of this in some way but to prospective members just be warned, the entire business model is very shady. Also pursuing legal action over a gym membership is ridiculous.

TFE has been my fitness and wellness home since it has opened circa 2014! The management team of Jason and Jonathan at the One Loudoun facility has been undefeated on our requests. Also, the current Fitness manager Ed is also undefeated too! Very welcoming, inclusive, and full of knowledge, with expertise. The facility itself has never smelled any better and is always somehow clean. I equate this gym as upscale and luxurious compared to the other gyms in area. Equipment and spacings are well done as well. This is my review and co-sign for TFE!

Best gym from functional, practical, and amenities perspective. It offers various classes, personal trainings, and health assessments that are far more effective and useful than Sports & Health and Lifetime Fitness, where I have previously had Membership. Great staff... including Loudoun County manager - Jason. Highly recommend TFE.

So I will tell you this is one of the best gyms in the area. It is never busy, it's extremely clean, and pretty much everyone leaves me alone. I love the kids area, and has a little ninja thing in there which now they are charging though.As a bunch of random services in there like hair stylists and stuff like that. The locker rooms are very clean.Would probably get four or five stars without this last issue.However a friend of mine came in on a pass. He was contacted no less than 21 times. One day three times in the same day through three different methods. He asked them multiple times to stop contacting him as he was only in the area for one day. But over the course of 5 weeks or so the contacts were excessive. One text message every single day and multiple emails. So fit that I knock off 1.5 stars. The staff, other than the one who kept contacting, is great.If you're nearby and you commit to a membership, and you are prioritizing fitness, it certainly worth it.

Living in various parts of the country for the past 25 years, have seen numerous gyms. Was transferred to Northern Virginia a few weeks ago, started looking for a clean, well- managed gym. Visiting TFE was an amazing experience. Super friendly staff, very clean, lots of well -maintained strength training and cardio equipment. Matt gave me a tour and JT assisted with signing up process. This is a fantastic gym, highly recommend it.

We feel TFE is the best gym in all of Ashburn! The owners care about their customers and it shows! The staff is helpful and always very friendly. There is something for everyone no matter what your fitness level might be. Plenty of cardio equipment, free weights, and classes. It’s always well maintained and clean with beautiful dressing/bathroom facilities! We love this gym and have met some very nice members!

Great classes. I really enjoy the cycling classes and some of the fitness ones as well. The instructors are great. Fitness center also has a ton of natural light and is in the heart of One Loudoun where you can easily grab a bite to eat or coffee after you work out. Super location!

I Love this Gym ?Is new and clean. The lockers are very modern overall a great experience. The staff is very friendly and they assist you with a smile. Jason was very helpful answered all our questions.I love working out at this gym. Great atmosphere.

Very good gym. Plenty of free weights and benches, excellent selection of cable machines. More than enough cardio equipment. Classes are pretty good though I wish they here were more late classes from 5-8pm. Hopefully they can get class participation up.

Love The Fitness Equation. Stumbled by chance after the Gold’s Gym Ashburn closure. Reasonable membership fees, friendly staff, lots of good equipment (no waiting any time I have visited). Very clean and continues to be (second year in my membership). Also great location - right in the middle of One Loudoun. You can always find free parking and relax after with cup of coffee at next door Barnes and Noble or grab a beer with friends at the nearby pubs. I would recommend for anybody considering joining gym.

I just joined the Fitness Equation a few weeks ago after I was completely disappointed in another local gym. Jason (JT) was so helpful answering all of my membership questions. I have been going 4-5 days per week since I joined and I love it. I never have to wait for any equipment and the cardio machines are quite varied as well. To sweeten the pot, they also offer a discount for LCPS employees. Win win!

I have been a member of The Fitness Equation in Ashburn since moving during the summer of 2022 to One Loudoun. I love the convenience of walking there! The front desk staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. I have found classes that meet my needs & really enjoy them. I love "Barre" with Marilyn & "Deep Stretch" with La Toria. I recently tried "TFE Cycle Express" and "TFE Strong Express" with Doreen and love both those classes. All 3 instructors are wonderful!! Plus I have met many nice people in the classes.
