Pharmacy review only: I have been going to this pharmacy for several years and I can't figure out if the problem with staffing is due to a store or community issue. It seems to me that many businesses in Ashburn are struggling to keep employees hired, either bc there aren't enough applicants or bc the applicants aren't quality people and keep job hoping bc everyone needs employees so bad that they can have this flexibility. Either way, the pharmacy in this Walgreens seem to constantly be dealing with staff shortages. Bc they are under staffed, they are unable to meet the demands of the pharmacy customers (answering the phones, getting Rx filled in a reasonable time, long drive thru wait times). When I do finally get to an employee, they have always been nice to me but seem very stressed. It can't be easy working in an environment where you are dealing with unhappy customers and can't personally fix the problems of staff shortages. I feel for them but at the end of the day, prescriptions and not something most people can have a lot of flexibility about. You need them when you need them and if this Walgreens can't manage the work load... most people will be forced to go to another pharmacy. They have also recently stopped opening the pharmacy on Sundays (I assume to staff shortages) which now makes it even less convenient than surrounding pharmacies. I hope they fix there staff problems soon bc I prefer this location bc it's closest to where I live.

Constantly delayed prescriptions with no explanation. Good luck trying to talk to a human. The app and robo call assistance will run you in circles.

Constantly runs out of meds that I get every month. It’s a different pharmacist every day and sometimes they close the pharmacy early so good luck this next day.

The pharmacy doctor/Manager on this location is very rude. Stopped by to pick up my second prescription by another doctor and she refused to give me the medication because the doctor prescribed me stronger medication. I don't understand what is the argue and refusion for if the my doctor sent the prescription to the pharmacy's and approved using them for my condition! After all the headache she gave me and back and forth with my doctor she accepted to give my prescription but told me to leave and come back in 30 min while the she had the order from earlier in the day.

If there was a 0 star, that's what I'd leave this store. Today was the third time in the last 2 weeks that the pharmacy has been "temporarily closed." So I call the store to see when it may re-open, and they had no clue. Then they transferred me to another store near by that could fulfill my prescription, but it was not the right store and they transferred me to someone else who told me they had no stores in VA. I will never use this pharmacy again. Most of the staff is incredibly rude as well. Unreliable, rude and incompetent. Great combo Walgreens!

This review pertains to the store, not the pharmacy. At this store, there is an employee named Kidist. She is absolutely fantastic and super helpful. A couple of times, she went out of her way to help find what I was looking for. Fantastic customer service!

I'd give 0 stars for the pharmacy if I could. The pharmacist is an unhelpful uncaring tyrant who gets off on refusing to fill prescriptions despite repeated calls from a Doctor's office.Do yourself a favor and fill your prescription elsewhere and avoid the persistent hassle of dealing with this location.

The bad experiences overwhelmingly outweigh the good ones.1. My sister was discriminated against by some young pharmacist, who didnt fulfill my our mom prescription as she should have. That was a wasted $110 there.2. They never get the prescriptios on time. Had my dog's medication missed a few times and they refused to give an emergency refill (1 day) on a sunday, while they were closed the Saturday before!!! My pet is a risks of seizures or worst by not getting his meds.3. Close randomly for no reason.4. Pharmacist can be jerks here.5. That's all. I wont be using Walgreens for my pharmaceutical needs, always have, but never again.

No matter when you go, there is always a line at the pharmacy. Takes forever to pick up a prescription. They are woefully understaffed. Their text messaging system is also sometimes wrong and tells you to pick something up that is out of stock or not ready. . Go elsewhere if possible..

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. Tell me, Walgreens - how am I supposed to pick up the medication that I need if your pharmacy is always closed?! I moved from Sterling where I used a Rite Aid that became a Walgreens and never had problems with their service, in fact in several occasions I've had meds rerouted back to that store and drove 20 mins out of my way to avoid this Ashburn location which is extremely convenient yet inconveniently never staffed by the pharmacists. Yet even when fully staffed they are a joke and provide terrible service, cannot answer basic questions, don't understand how to operate the desk and drive-up at the same time and struggle to function as a business. I plan to transfer my prescriptions as soon as they're open again.

Sat in Drive thru for 30 minutes to be told that they didn't have my daughters medication in stock, despite there App telling me it was ready. Daughter has to miss taking badly needed meds b/c if their disorganization

Your staff at #11771 is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL Posting numerous videos all over Facebook and TikTok with songs using vulgar racist language and provocative movement while on the clock, in their work clothes, in the break room. TACKY and OFFENSIVE!
