I know Angela, the person who submitted the review above, and have been following the correspondence between the owners of the gym and her and can confirm her review fairly details the situation.
My objective review is this: one of the fitness instructors called the above author and asked her not to attend evening or weekend classes at the Atlee location due to a "personal matter outside of the gym." When the actions of this employee were questioned, the owners of Burn Boot Camp-Atlee stood by the actions of their employee, did not offer an apology, and then banned the member from the gym after she contacted Burn Boot Camp's corporate leadership.
The text messages posted in the review clearly show that the CO-OWNER contacted the member and asked her not to return due to a personal matter outside of the gym. This request was made solely because one of the fitness instructors' friends had negative feelings towards the member and did not want to run into her at the gym. So, the instructor asked the co-owner to reach out to the member and request that she not attend evening or weekend classes (the classes her friend would most likely attend). Since the co-owner did not ask the same of the other member involved in the "personal matter,"I feel they targeted this member.
I am confident that those reading the review, as well as the screenshots and emails, can conclude this was a matter of bullying behavior where one person was targeted for a personal matter that did not involve the gym or any of its staff or owners. Aside from the information posted in the previous review, the response from the company speaks for itself and shows that they are not willing to accept ownership or offer an apology for their actions. Personally, I would not want to pay money to endure that kind of treatment. Business owners should never involve their business in matters that do not negatively impact their income or safety, and they did.

The owners of this gym are two of the most unprofessional individuals l've ever dealt with. As a Universal Member of Burn Boot Camp I visited their gym a total of 5 times. I received a call from co-owner, Becca Craft, stating that another member came forward wanting to end her membership because she did not feel safe working out at the same time as me. After questioning this, she stated I'd done nothing wrong at the gym, however, it was apparently a personal issue that happened outside the gym, therefore she told me I could no longer attend evening or weekend classes, because that's when this "other member" works out. After going back and forth for almost 3 weeks trying to gather information and some sort of proof for their decision, they continued to provide me with zero reason. They promised, however, that this "situation" was kept between administration only, which was a blatant lie because I have screenshots of text messages from one of their trainers to another member that clearly shows they'd spoken about it outside of management. After I continued to question their reasoning behind harassing and targeting me, they mailed a "No Trespass" notice to my home. This kind of behavior is unlike anything l've ever experienced, and I recommend that anyone who is considering joining this gym should think twice. They clearly based a decision like this purely on hearsay from another member, and if they treated me like this, they absolutely have the potential to treat others this way, so please, just beware.

Not a welcoming environment. I called the Atlee location because I was considering visiting when in town and was treated poorly and didn’t feel good about visiting.

I wanted to try this place out for a month to see how I like it before signing up for anything long term. My intention from the start was only one month (and I made that very clear to the front office staff who did not mention anything about having to provide a cancellation form) Since I only had about a minute to sign my paperwork before the workout started (whole thing was super rushed so obviously didn't have time to read every word in the long contract). I even confirmed that I filled out the end date correctly and informed the front desk person I only wanted 1 month (She mentioned nothing about a cancellation form if I want to cancel so natually I assumed all was good and that would need to sign a new contract if I wanted to continue the membership). The workouts are ok, very effective but all the stations are super chaotic and fast paced. The instructors are all super nice and motivating but other than it was not for me. The crowd seemed super cliquey and workout focus seems to be more on lifting heavier weights than having proper form. I ended up having knee issues towards the end so decided not to continue. Come to find out I got charged the following month and had to argue back and forth with someone about a refund. Had the worst time trying to get someone to respond to me. It was like pulling teeth. Instead of just issuing me a refund for a simple mistake and for a service that was not even provided for the following month at all, they were refusing to refund me so I had to take it up with my credit card company instead. And now I just noticed that my card got charged AGAIN for another month after I have clearly stated many times last month that I was canceling and even filled out the form they wanted me to. Super frustrating!

I have been a member since November 2021 and have had my ebbs and flow on accountability and getting back into a routine post baby. The new management, changes implemented, and new energy in the gym has made that easier and really got me back in the swing of Burn and they are awesome meeting me where I’m at. Childcare is a plus for allowing flexibility to bring my 1 y/o! Check it out if you haven’t already - great community with varying workouts so it doesn’t feel monotonous

I’ve gone to this gym since they opened a little over a couple of year ago. Great workouts, great trainers, great members. The new owners have really put in a lot of work and it shows. They’re very present (and one’s is a kick-butt trainer ?). Everyone there cares to know your name and welcome you.

I've been attending this gym since November, and I can't say enough good things about it! It's always clean and organized, the classes are always fresh, but the best part is the community - it feels genuine and GOOD and I'm so grateful to have found them!

I have been to a variety of gyms over the years- class based, 1:1 and individually driven- and Burn Atlee has by far been my best experience thus far. The protocol and work outs are different day to day which keeps things fresh and exciting- it’s the perfect amount of weight lifting versus cardio. All of the trainers at Burn Atlee are phenomenal and they are there to get to know you, better understand your health goals, and motivate you. The BEST part about Burn Atlee is the community. If you’re having an off day and not in the mood to work out, you can count on the trainers and fellow gym goers who will be there to cheer you on and give you a high five of encouragement through out the work out!

I love everything about Burn Boot Camp Atlee! From the trainers to the amazing community to the workouts, I just can’t get enough! The new owners have done an amazing job transforming the gym and they are the sweetest people! I was initially intimidated by the cost, but as soon as I joined I realized it was worth every penny and more. I’ve made so many great friends and I am so grateful for everything Burn Atlee has to offer! If you haven’t checked it out, you’re seriously missing out!

I’ve always been an on again off again gym goer, i’ve never been able to stay consistent with the gym and everytime I would go, i’d get bored and ran out of things I wanted to work on. I start going to Burn Atlee in mid August and I haven’t stopped since. I have never enjoyed working out this much…ever. the community here is absolutely amazing and so encouraging.
