When my husband passed and needed help with closing his accounts this branch was horrible!!! I had everything from court and they refused to help me. I went to another branch in Hanover and got great customer service.

I don't quite understand most of the negative reviews. The service at this location has always been excellent, the facility itself is beautiful and feels very clean and upscale. I would much rather bank with Michael at this location than anywhere with some of the "big banks".

We had to close out a saving account. was told on the phone it had been 3 months so there would be no penalty. Went and close it out and was charge a penalty. We will be looking for a new bank.

Very slow service. Came in to cash check from union. Had to wait over 15 mins for verification from bank. Weird they don't trust checks from themselves. This would have been a quick in and out at almost any other bank in the world. Glad i don't bank with them regular.

Very nice people. Good product offerings like free checking. We used Union Bank's series for the first 7 or 8 years that we lived here, keeping a checking account for local use and opening accounts for our kids. However, several years ago now they made a big change to their online banking product, basing the login process on cookies. Since we are security conscious and either do not accept cookies or have our browsers regularly wipe all cookies, using their new system became impossible. Every single time we wanted to use the online system to pay a bill, we had to go through an onerous process of verifying identity via a systematic text message from the bank's system containing a verification password, then navigate to their website and use that verification password to confirm our identity. Every single time. Ten minutes of extra time, just to pay a bill. Their tech staff said that there was nothing they could do, telling us to stop cleaning cookies, accept all cookies, and leave their cookie set. Yup, their tech people (at least they said they were tech people) told us that on the phone. Thankfully, a new bank opened up nearby and their system did not have such an onerous process, so we have used them since. Nice people. Convenient location. Saturday hours. Online billpayer service that did not meet our needs.
