I wish I could give them 0 stars. If Lowe's uses them for your warranty, be prepared for them to cancel and skip appointments and never do anything they say they will. 54 days without a washer because they didn't care about their customers at all. In the end, Lowe's just replaced the washer. I fully believe our washer was fixable, but this company told us point blank to go somewhere else if we didn't want to wait a month for service (knowing we couldn't). We did report them to Lowe's because it was awful. The receptionist also way overshared her own life stressors every time I asked for an update.

Do not use this business. They say they will show up, but don't. I don't know what is happening with this business, but they have come to fix a warranty-related issue with a refrigerator at least three times. The latest appointment was to be on December 17th, which I confirmed. At around 11:30, I received a text message asking me to reschedule the appointment. The reason given to me was I didn't answer the phone, so the appointment was cancelled. I called the office and explained that I didn't understand why the technician cancelled, as I had confirmed I would be here at the scheduled time.
Stephanie became defensive and told me I could get another service provider, but her firm had the required part. Not good. We rescheduled for today, and I told Stephanie that the technician, Tim Cundiff, didn't have to call to confirm. I would be at the house. The time frame was 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I heard nothing from the technician. I knew their office hours ended at 3 p.m., so I called at 2:30 to check on Tim's status. Stephanie told me that he had one more appointment before mine. I waited until 5:30. I didn't hear anything. Two days of waiting for nothing. Can you imagine if I were working? I would have had to take two days off from my job for nothing. Just figure a minimum of $20 an hour for 16 hours, I would have lost. I want to issue them an invoice for $320 for the frustration I experienced over their failure to make good on their bad business practices. Also, Stephanie defended the technician, who I think is the owner. I also asked for a member of management to call me. She said it would be Frank. I have heard nothing from anyone.

My washer stopped working correctly, luckily I added the Protection Plan from Lowes when I made my purchase @ 2 years ago. After filing a claim a Technician from VA. Electronics (Tim) called to talk about the issue and set up an appointment. Based on our conversation Tim determined it was a problem with the Mother Board, as they have been receiving many calls from Whirlpool customers experiencing the same issue. Tim would have to order the part then schedule an appointment which he did. Upon arrival to my home another Tim stated that the washer only needed to be recalibrated and that this happens sometimes when there is a loss of power. Tim advised if I had any issues within 30 days to call him back ( he provided me with his cell). The original problem continued and I called Tim he seemed surprised that the Mother Board was not replaced by the technician ( I guess they have two Tim's employed) he referred me to the office to schedule a second appointment. Unfortunately when I called the office thier records indicated that the Mother Board had been replaced and the ticket was closed and that I would have to resubmit my claim to Lowes. My next step is to contact Lowes and inform them of my poor experience with this company. Hopefully they will remove them from thier contract. This experience was very frustrating and I will never refer this company to anyone.

I saw all these bad reviews and thought “man these folks can’t be that bad”. I was wrong. I paid them $150 dollars to look at my dishwasher, some kid came out and didn’t seem like he had a clue of what he was doing. I lent him tools while he was on the phone with someone asking for advice the entire time, couldn’t get my dishwasher out, then left. They told me they wouldn’t look at it until I found a way to get it out myself. I pulled my dishwasher out myself and hit them back up and said that I would have to pay another $150 to look at it. These guys are scammers and do not recommend.

Excellent Customer Service 2:59 PM: Stephanie demonstrated amazing customer service at the very last minute before her day ended, literally lol. I called and she was more than happy to assist even though they were a minute from closing. I haven't had much experience with Virginia Electronics but so far, the service has been great. Definitely will recommend based on professionalism, care and service

ZERO STARS! Called them to repair my dishwasher July 2025. They finally came to inspect the problem a month later. Order the part and it came in Sept 2 2025. Scheduled to repair 9/15/25 from 1-6…he got a flat tire. Rescheduled for 9/16/25 from 1-6….he was sick…rescheduled 9/24/25 from 1-6…he no showed….rescheduled for 10/8/25 from 1-6…he no showed again! They have stolen our money and scammed us for months!!! They called today 10/9/25 to reschedule for next week from 1-6…like we can sit around a 5th time on a weekday! They are LIARS and THIEVES! Reading all of these reviews and they pretend it’s just a series of misfortunate events for us….obviously this is how they run their business! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Owner will call us 48hrs after 4th no show! Tim Cundiff gave himself a 5 star rating on google for promptness!

To Whom It May Concern,
I am reaching out regarding our Frigidaire dryer, which is under warranty and being serviced through VA Electronics. Unfortunately, our experience so far has been extremely disappointing, and I am asking for this matter to be escalated and resolved promptly.
At the first appointment, the technician arrived within the 1–6 PM time frame, stayed approximately 15 minutes, and only used an air pressure gun to tighten screws. Both my husband and I were present when he stated a part would be ordered and that we would be contacted within a few weeks to complete the repair. That follow-up never happened, and the same issue continues.
I scheduled a second appointment for today, confirmed it by phone this morning, and was again given the 1–6 PM time frame. This time, however, there was no call and no show, which is unacceptable.
Additionally, when I tried to clarify the situation with your office, I was told I may have “misunderstood” the technician, which is both dismissive and inaccurate. My husband and I know what was said, and if necessary, we can provide video confirmation from our home security cameras.
We should not have to repeatedly call, wait, and chase down service for a warranty-covered issue.
1. I am requesting the following:
Immediate scheduling of a qualified technician who can properly diagnose and repair the dryer.
2. Clear written confirmation of any parts ordered and the expected timeline for repair.
Improved communication moving forward, including accurate appointment windows and call-ahead confirmations.
If this issue is not resolved in a timely and professional manner, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).
I truly hope we can resolve this quickly and professionally. Please confirm how you will proceed and provide me with a specific next step.
Thank you,
Brittany Ellerbe

I struggled with a broken portable AC unit and the manufacturer contracts Virginia Electronics for warranty work. I received excellent service from the admin staff to the technician doing the repair. They made a difficult situation tolerable. Thank you.

I’m glad you’re checking the reviews. I wish we did before hiring this company. First, I need to disclose that this occurred over 2 years ago, but I’ve neglected to put in a review. I usually only do a review if I’ve had a good experience. But, clearly, this incident still bothers me.
Our refrigerator broke down in late 2022. We contacted Virginia Electronics to have it repaired. Tim came out and told us that it would need extensive/costly repairs. However, this refrigerator was recalled and part of a class action lawsuit and suggested that we look into it to see if we can get it repaired/replaced at no cost. Long story short, we were too late to benefit from the class action, so we contacted Virginia Electronics to do the repair in February 2023.
After they were done, I noticed a spot on the floor that looked like a burn in the linoleum. I mentioned this to Tim. He flat out denied it, stating it was rust and tried cleaning it off the floor. After scrubbing holes into the floor (because the floor was indeed burned), Tim doubled down insisting it was rust. At that point I was done talking to him and contacted the company directly.
I spoke to a very nice, empathetic young lady on the phone that suggested I send an email about what happened with photos. I did, but was there was never a response. I followed up by phone a number of times, but was never contacted by an owner/manager to make this right.
To add insult to injury, after paying more than $800 in total for the repair, the refrigerator still did not work. We ended up just replacing it. I know this was 2 years ago and it’s possible they’ve made changes, but they have yet to make things right for me.

If you want to be ripped off and still have a broken appliance, this is the company to call. Tim assured me it was worth the fix and he knew what the problem was. Kyle assured me its never that part and it probably wouldn’t fix the problem which it didn’t. Incorrect diagnostics, 3 months later, out money, and still a broken appliance. I hope Frank gets the message from Kevin.

Selected by my warranty company. I was told if I missed a call from the technician there would be a $75 charge to reschedule. No call, no missed calls that entire day and was told they would not waive the charge. Call was not blocked since he had no issue calling me when he first came out to diagnose. Very dissatisfied.

Worst customer service experience I've ever had.
I bought a refrigerator in December, only to find out later it didn’t work. I contacted the warranty service, and they sent out a technician from Virginia Electronics. At first, they said the issue was covered under warranty — the tech even cut our fridge’s water line and said they’d be back once the part arrived.
Then out of nowhere, I get a call saying it's not covered and that I’d need to pay $400 to fix it — for a fridge that cost $800 total. I pushed back and got on a three-way call with Virginia Electronics and the manufacturer, who confirmed that yes, the repair is covered under warranty.
And what did Virginia Electronics do? They told us to find another company and hung up the call.
This company is an absolute joke. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. If you need appliance repairs, go elsewhere — save yourself the time, money, and headache.
