We connected with Dante at Big Buddy's a few days before an estate auction closed their bids to let him know that I would need their moving services on the 5th of August. I won six lots of items which included a pool table, baby grand piano and pub table and eight pub seats. I confirmed on Monday night that they would be at the estate location at 9:15am the next morning. Dante was right on time with a crew of 4. This was a 5 hour move to dismantle the pool table and piano and reassemble at our new home in Martinsville. Even though Dante had allowed two hours for my move, he extended our move and rescheduled two other moves he had that day.
The care in which they moved the two large items was meticulous. His team was awesome. I am having them back to the house on Thursday to move a huge wall unit from the family room to the library.
I highly recommend Big Buddy's Moving Company. You will be pleased with their expertise and also the clarity in their pricing.

Big Buddy's Moving Company moved us from our house recently. We highly recommend them! They were very efficient and worked very hard to make sure each piece of furniture was wrapped and handled carefully. They were friendly, kind, and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. It was a big job and they never took a break until the house was empty. We could not have been more pleased.
We have just used Big Buddy's again to move a whole lot of furniture, bins, rugs etc. We could not be more pleased. They were great to work with, pleasant, efficient, and reasonable. I don't know why anyone would use anyone else. So both times we were extremely well pleased.

I highly recommend Big Buddy Movers! They were able to move my furniture on very short notice after another local mover canceled at the last minute. Big Buddy Movers are professional and truly skilled at what they do. When I need movers again, they will be my first choice.

Update 5/7/2025:
After using Big Buddy's Moving Co. back in 2023, and the success I had with them then, I decided to reach out to them again for another move. As before, they were on time, organized, methodical, and very nice to work with. Deante also helped me put together my bedframe during our billable hours, which I do appreciate as I have a physical disability.
We did have some issues regarding billable charges, and maybe some misunderstanding or miscommunication; however, I believe we were able to resolve them. As always, with every business transaction you become involved in, make sure you know any and all charges, rates, and fees to avoid having issues with billing. Finanical transparency and absolute assurety with your transaction should be a key factor with any well-handled business transaction, especially moving.
I'll still possibly consider using this company in the future, but the final phone conversation trying to simply discuss the breakdown of the charges, and how the gentleman I spoke with handled it, left a bad taste in my mouth. I was quoted a slightly lesser rate with a different moving company, but I went with this one because of the success in the past. I'm not sure if I made the right call, but it's over now.
November 2023:
I wish I could properly convey how unbelievably impressive Big Buddy's Moving Co is. They moved me and my packed, chaotic, whirlwind of an apartment today. These guys were calm, collected, professional, quick and so kind to me when I was just a bundle of anxiety. They even tightened some of the bolts on my bedframe that I didn't know were loose! They also intuitively knew where to put items of mine that I hadn't said where I wanted them, which saved me moving heavy objects again. They took amazing care of all of my possessions, including a very expensive and very heavy wheelchair I had to transport.
If you're looking to move, please, consider this company and these guys and watch them make moving look easy when we all know it's such a hassle sometimes.

Big Buddy's Moving Company just unloaded a second moving Truck for us.......this time was a 26' Truck that was completely stuffed, including some REALLY heavy stuff and they were FANTASTIC!! We could not be happier and highly recommended them!! They took a seemingly overwhelming task and made it look easy. They also had a great contact for a Wrecker, Kountry Boys Towing to help offload a Toolbox. Highly recommended them as well!

Excellent service. Great moving team. Perfect communication. Friendly & professional. Buddy’s came recommended from my sister, which she used a few years ago. They were great moving our 3br home and specifically moving our belongings safely off the truck into our new home, organizing our boxes as they went. Kept to our estimated time & budget! I highly recommend them!!

I have never used a moving company before. These guys are truly professional. From Angie in the office to the 4 men that came to the house. Very polite, friendly, and funny. It’s worth the money. I would use them Again. They are also magicians when it comes to packing everything in the truck. Couldn’t believe how they put so much stuff into one moving trailer. Well done Big Buddy!!!!!!

These people are amazing! They worked so hard yesterday in the 95 degree weather. The office and the moving guys were top notch!!!
