The food is decent wish I could say the same about some of the people who work there. The lady that manages the store i think her name is Janie is rude. I don't know how she has a job when she has absolutely zero customer service skills. She makes you feel like you are an inconvenience. The bathrooms are nasty. You can smell the urine from men's room from the front of the store. The women's restroom smells like kitty litter. Im sure the owner is aware he just doesn't care.

Stopped by on our way from Raleigh to West Virginia. My Husband and I were truly amazed by how good their food was. The chicken wings are the best and so are their chicken strips. Probably the best we have ever had. The strawberry cream cheese fried pie was superb. We enjoyed it so much we stopped on the way up and way back. Truly a gem and a must stop for excellent food!

I went in to pay for gas. The gentleman working was nice. He was fixing sandwiches..had the buns out. He had in gloves but unfortunately he took the money, run up the gas and went back to preparing the food w the same gloves on. He was friendly but i would hate to order food knowing someone handled my order that way. I gave 4 stars bc of friendly atmosphere and employee.

Food was okay. The people were awesome, very nice and attentive. The atmosphere could have been better but it's a convenience store, not a restaurant. Could have been cleaner.

Dodges is a convenience store on 220 toward Roanoke. It’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have a good menu but be prepared to overpay. For the convenience. It’s your typical gas station, with the exception that it’s chicken is famous. They have lottery, check cashing, western union, an alcohol cooler, fountain drinks, ATM, but no WIFI. I’d consider it a local landmark, it’s been there forever and I don’t see that changing. Go Dodges!

The food is ok but the kicker is they choose how many they're gonna give one person ex. I was trying to order 6 spicy chicken sandwiches and the lady say well i can give you two spicy the rest original what i don't even like the original. But i got them anyways. Clean paint what ever you need to make it presentable. Dont just close the bathroom because you cant clean. Tip take care of your establishment and it will be around for decades to come

If I was to rate this place as just a gas station, i would give it a 5. Its on my way home and their prices are usually the cheapest or competitive for this area. I hardly ever go inside but needed to use the restroom. Glad they had one but it was the low point of the visit. I got a couple of chicken biscuit to go. Premade and under heat lamps. I wasnt expecting fine dining still pretty good. The guy working the counter was super friendly and helpful to me.
