**** DO NOT USE A CARD ***** PAY WITH CASH ONLY*** WATCH YOUR STATEMENTS. Brought gas here on the inside and spent $42.00 with a BRAND new card that I haven't used anywhere but here. A few days later another charge appeared for an additional $32 listed under a NY address. Did contact the bank to report fraud and will have the information needed after investigation to pursue whatever is necessary to ensure that this wont happen again.

I just got off of a nine hour workday, and went to Murphy’s to get some gas. When I went up to the window another lady had been waiting there for about five minutes according to her. She said nobody was in there. We stood there for about five more minutes and both of us hollered through the window trying to get somebody’s attention. Finally a larger set lady with blond hair comes up in very rudely tells us that she was in the bathroom. When it finally was my turn I gave her $20 and told her I needed 20 in gas on pump 17. She went to say that she was in the bathroom and I said that’s fine you just seem very rude when you came to the front, and she said you seem rude and threw my money back at me and refused to let me get gas.I am literally dumbfounded by the whole situation. There was a line of people behind me that were just as shocked . She wouldn’t tell me her name , all I know is she’s very large, blonde, and with piercings . I’ve never had any other workers be rude there, but she was absolutely awful.

I went to get gas today after a nine hour shift serving tables. When I walked up to the window there was another woman in front of me waiting to pay. Nobody was there at the OPEN window. We waited together for about 10 minutes. She told me that she had already been waiting for about five. She proceeded to holler through the window that had been left open. Nobody answered. I have always gotten gas here and when in another state I would go out of my way to go here. Well today everything changed. I stopped by to get gas in Bedford, Virginia and the cashier was exceptionally rude and ugly to me. I don't know what her problem was with me but I will never, ever go here again.

This gas station always has the lowest gas prices! And, as a bonus, the pumps seem to pump fast here!

Bad setup for night time shut down. Pumps were "on" at midnight, so I stopped to fuel up, as did another customer. The pump took my card, and I started to pump. A slow 10 cents worth of gas trickled into my tank and that was it. The same thing happened to the other customer. I called Murphy's the next day and I was told that they have no way to stop that from happening. Puzzling, other stations in this area and around the country don't have that problem. I called and informed "corporate." Will see if anything gets done about it. Also they have installed screens and speakers on all pumps. They are loud and very intrusive for anyone who stops there to fuel up. As of approx March of 2018 they have removed all the advertising machines from the pumps. A very welcome change!
