I wouldn't have anything other than mufflers or tires installed AYOR. Had transmission repaired ~4yrs ago. OMG u won't believe this, I didn't. Transmission did not shift right & still doesn't. Ended up having a leak & a small fire b/c leak. Apparently they don't consider transmission seals part of a complete transmission repair! Made me pay 4 seals, labor plus the lost trans fluid! Here I am again weighing scrapping car or repairing transmission AGAIN. Unfortunately Ins wouldn't pay 4 replacement or I'd let it burn back then. If it were done correctly 1st time I would have a perfect car. I get all stressed out when anything needs 2b repaired on a vehicle after dealing w/ these fine mechanics... I'm Traumatized &or PTSD. Thought I would share. Most normal people don't have thousands $ just 2 throw away.
