Terrible Rx management.
I have monthly prescriptions refills that for 3 months straight they managed to screw up and not have ready on time. Recurring refills should be straightforward. Not with this pharmacy. To make matters worse, instead of fixing their mistakes they put it on you to resolve the problem with the providers and the insurance and even go as far as telling you to call other pharmacies. Atrocious. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but they have to be competent first

I live in Chesapeake and had to have a prescription called in from my doctors office. I called to make sure they had the medication and the girl on the phone was so nice and willing to help. When I went in to pick it up, they were so pleasant and accommodating. They had the prescription ready and had all of my insurance information. I was in and out in a flash. I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone looking for personal and courteous service.

We love this pharmacy so much. They are so friendly and efficient with filling medications despite how busy they are. Having a locally owned pharmacy is wonderful. On a professional note, as a prescriber, I have been so happy to work with them on compounded medications as well. So happy they are in their new building and have more room to spread out.

Everyone you interact with is positive, friendly, efficient and genuinely cares about you. Their service is personalized to your specific needs, and their attention to detail is amazing. They provide a level of service that simply does not exist anywhere else!

Being a senior citizen, a good pharmacy is especially important. My numerous interactions with Blacksburg Pharmacy and all of its staff has been so positive. Everyone I have spoken to has been kind, helpful and professional. They go out of their way to help the customers. Stephanie went out of her way after hours to deliver a much needed prescription last night. I greatly appreciate the owner for having such wonderful support staff to help the customers. I highly recommend this pharmacy!! Betty

I have had previously positive experiences with Blacksburg pharmacy but I feel like like the service has gone way down. I am no longer receiving notices that my prescriptions are received or filled. If you call to check the status, the phone goes unanswered. When you take a chance to head over there several hours later, the prescription is not ready or you find out that the prescription is out of stock. Inventory issues happen, particularly in winter when COVID is running rampant, however, I was told that I would have to figure out the issue myself and call around to other pharmacies to see who had it in stock. Previously, Blacksburg pharmacy has done their best to try and find meds or direct me elsewhere but never have I been told that it was up to me to find a pharmacy who had it is stock and do all the legwork. This is a lot to ask of someone who is unwell and struggling with COVID or the flu. Luckily, CVS came in for the win and was able to get this handled. It's a shame that the customer service has gone down hill as I was as loyal customer.
