Hyatt Place Blacksburg/University offers an excellent location for visitors to Virginia Tech. The rooms are clean, quiet, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and nice shower supplies. The breakfast selection is varied, with hot and cold options, fruit, and pastries. The staff are described as amazing, friendly, and helpful, both at the front desk and in the bar. The layout of the rooms is spacious and very clean, with a nice king suite option. Although the hotel is slightly off the main road, it provides a great experience, with immaculately clean rooms, a pool for the kids, and a breakfast area that is well-maintained by the hardworking staff. Guests also appreciate the nearby dining options within walking distance.
All staff very nice. Restaurants (a step up from fast food) on the same block and better within 0.3 miles. Indoor pool perfect temperature, no sun exposure. Average+ free breakfast.

Wonderful location to visit Virginia Tech University. Rooms are large and quiet. Morning breakfast is amazing with fresh fruits and Service overall is amazing. I would highly recommend this place for staying if you are visiting Virginia Tech university.
