Hyatt Place Blacksburg/University offers an excellent location for visitors to Virginia Tech. The rooms are clean, quiet, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and nice shower supplies. The breakfast selection is varied, with hot and cold options, fruit, and pastries. The staff are described as amazing, friendly, and helpful, both at the front desk and in the bar. The layout of the rooms is spacious and very clean, with a nice king suite option. Although the hotel is slightly off the main road, it provides a great experience, with immaculately clean rooms, a pool for the kids, and a breakfast area that is well-maintained by the hardworking staff. Guests also appreciate the nearby dining options within walking distance.
Excellent location for visiting VA Tech. Room and bathroom were clean and quiet. The bedding and shower supplies were also very nice. My husband and I found the beds too hard but my college students were comfortable, so maybe old bones were the issue. The breakfast was very nice with hot and cold options, fruit, and pastries.

Staff were amazing and helpful. Room was great but honestly go for the pillows. Best pillows made it the best night’s rest.
