I've been an Innovations customer for well over a decade. Kalyn exceeds my expectations every single time I schedule a hair cut, color, or consultation. When I'm there, I also get to see how well the other stylists serve their customers. From formal updos to facial hair removal to men's haircuts to extensions (and so much more), they do it all with professionalism and friendliness. The salon environment is clean and comfortable, and also located in a plaza with a Food Lion - convenient for grabbing a bottle of water/beverage of your choice or a quick snack before your appointment.

Got my hair cut, with a good friend of mine, and my friend wanted little to no highlights on the ends of her hair after getting it cut. when I saw the price of what we asked for it was 300$ for two haircuts and the smallest amount of color for her hair, and she fried her hair along side that and it's severely damaged. So basically 260$ for the tiniest amount of color. I'm absolutely livid.
My friend also asked for about half an inch off of her hair and the girl cut it 2/3 inches. NOT what she asked for. I got her to call the place and the girl who did our hair looked through our phones and went through the messages between my friend and I. Absolutely not okay. And will be going back to have a firm conversation about it.

Kalyn is great! Since moving here I've tried several places and she is by far the best - in terms of pain (or lack thereof), speed, professionalism and just overall vibe. I actually look forward to my wax sessions!

Edited to add : I was contacted by a stylist on her personal phone to ask if I’d be able to reschedule and when I didn’t text their number back they canceled my appointment without telling me and never followed back up or informed me of the cancellation. So my review still stands as unprofessional and inappropriate.I think they have some work to do in appropriateness in communication and interactions with the community. The person I saw for a haircut made me uncomfortable and began texting my personal number without my consent.

Cheyann always does my hair and lashes, and she is so kind and knowledgeable. She really takes her time and does her best to explain everything. The atmosphere is super relaxing and well decorated. The shampoo bowls are the most comfortable out of any salon I’ve ever been to. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a change or a touch up!!!

I'm a college student and have only ever had one stylist back at home and had never been anywhere else. Seneca really got to know me and what I wanted out of our appointment. I absolutely love my hair and the quality work she did.
