If you are customer that actually use their services, using checking or savings, and they have no issue applying whatever fee they want to apply, they don't consider you a customer. So don't park in their customer parking. They will have you towed, costing you up to $160 in fees, look you in the eyes as they siphon money out of your account and tell you you're not a customer and that there is nothing they can do, even though they are the ones responsible for the situation. Very poor way to conduct yourself with customers

I have received my online statement for the last 3 months and its is encrypted, and is not readable. I have contacted them every time about this problem and still no resolution. They move very slowly to resolve problems but are quick to take your money and charge you when every its your fault. Terrible customer service.

NBB is a great local bank, they have internet banking ETC like any national chain. The advantage is you can walk in and talk to any department at any time if you have a problem and call customer service you actually talk to a person not a outsource in India. To update Eric W's review they have replaced most of their ATM's recently they were outdated but are now much easier to use and don't look like they are from the 80's.

I don't actually use this bank, but have used its drive-thru ATM a few times. It's absolutely horrible. When you go to pull in, don't drive under the covered area as I initially did...it's on the outside of it. Not too great if the weather's bad. From my sedan, I can't reach the ATM. It's too high, so I have to park and hang out the window. The screen is always dirty and the contrast is so bad, you can hardly read the information unless you provide shade with your hand and get right up to it. Not a one-time experience, but every time I use it. The only reason I continue to go back is because I haven't found another drive-thru ATM in downtown Blacksburg. Once I do, I'll be going there instead.
