As a contractor and homebuilder, Ive rented equipment from a lot of places. Heavener is the best deal in NRV. Good machines and good people who are reliable and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Heavener for your rental needs.

We've had great service from Haevener Rental prior to our latest experience. We rented a small floor sander. When you rent a sander, you pay a $75 extension cord deposit, refunded when you return the cord undamaged. We returned our rental today, and the sander never got close to the extension cord when using, but the rental agent "found damage" and refused to reimburse the deposit. I can tell you there was no way we caused the damage. I've rented a sander previously from them and watched how they check the cord when returning the sander - running it through their hands. Guarantee they missed the "damage" on the last renter's return. Be weary of Haevener's "deposits" - they aren't honest.

Friendly staff. The item I rented didn't perform as expected, but my money was refunded.

I rented a stump grinder here. It took me 2 hours to grind only half of a 20" diameter x 8" tall cherry tree stump. The cutters were so dull I could only take a maximum cut of 1/8" depth per pass. I had rented it for a day's rental but returned it within 3 hours because I had 6 stumps to grind. It would have taken me days to get them done at that rate. They admitted that the teeth were dull but said "that was the best that I could expect from a piece of rental equipment". They still charged me $222 for a 3 hour rental which was 2/3 of the cost for the full day rental. They also said that you can't expect to grind stumps that are 2 months old or less, which I have never heard before. This is not mentioned on their website or was I told this when I made the reservation or picked up the grinder. I asked how do tree companies grind stumps the day after they cut down the tree. I was told "that is their machine and not a rental."This is third time that I have rented from Heavener in the past several years. The first two times I rented a boom lift and both times the lifts would not work and I had to return them. Also, beware that the prices on their website are much lower than your actual cost at checkout. The 1 day rental for the stump grinder was listed at $276 on the website. After taxes and their "damage waiver" fee the total cost was $334 for one day (21% higher than listed on website). The damage waiver is not refunded even if the equipment comes back undamaged.

Heavener Rental is always my choice for renting equipment, as opposed to the chains. Their equipment has always been in top notch condition, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Horrible service. Called and rented a piece of equipment (50 ft boom lift), 5 days in advance, and was told it was available for Saturday. Arranged my work schedule so I would have that day off. I get a call one hour before closing on Friday and they tell me my lift is not available. And they knew this 1-2 days before and didn’t notify me. At this point it is too late call anywhere else and get a rental. Said they loaned it out, person paid for one day, but hasn’t brought it back all week and they can’t contact them. They offered a different lift for Sunday, but I work on Sunday so I can’t do that. It wasn’t what we agreed on. I shouldn’t have to change my schedule to fit theirs. So I have a building project that will be put on hold until I can find a lift, and another day I will take off from work. I would only call these people if it was your last possibility. They don’t care about your schedule or your project.
