“I loveeee this gym. It has a good mix of weights, machines, cardio stuff, and a little room with free weights and mats (which was my favourite spot). The layout is lovely and well thought out despite the small space (the adductor machine faces a brick wall!). The staff and the other clientele are very friendly and are more than happy to help. I’m a very new and inexperienced gym goer, and am short, so there was always some machine I needed guidance on, or help to change a setting when I didn’t know how it worked, and everyone there was approachable, helpful, and polite. I went from a “my only exercise is walking” person, to someone who goes to the gym at least four times a week, ran a bunch of races, and can lift my absurdly heavy cabin bag into the overhead luggage bin on the plane, all in under a year. I’m moving away now and I’m genuinely gonna miss this gym. It’s a true gem”

“Arguably one of the only good things on “Fort” Pickett. Sustain gym: equipment serviceability and range is adequate. Gets tight fast as it’s virtually crammed in hallways. Hours suck, but it usually opens 30 mikes before posted hours. Not pictured: the other 3 rooms of equipment”
