I have had nothing but good service from this auto shop. I have had two inspections (two separate occasions) and have had to have a front axle replaced. From my experiences, I would say they do good work and would recommend.

Called about dropping 1981 Ford F100 pickup truck off to replace the transmission that went bad. The transmission in the truck was the wrong one( put in before I bought the truck). I was able to find and get a truck with no motor for parts (exact same year and color of mine).Ran the numbers with Ford and the transmission was for that year and make. Waited almost a week to get told they could not do the job because the dip stick was different, ( it bolted the right way but went into the transmission a different way) not really sure what that had to do with anything. Then the speed odometer cable was in a different place, ( All fords have the cable on the driver side tail shaft of the transmission). again I do not see how this was relevant in any way. At the end they refused to do the work stating "We do not do custom work here". I have changed these types of transmissions half my life when I was younger never seen or heard of anything like this in my life. Left a 68yo man to figure out how to resolve an issue that was already settled once.Service: Transmission

Mike and Kevin were great to work with. My 2004 Ford F150’s engine blew. Mike towed it in and his crew went to work on it. After several challenges with the current engine, they came out with a like-new engine! I am so in love with my truck now. These guys are awesome! Southside is always professional and typically can fit you into the schedule within a day or two (which is awesome for any shop). They are honest and good at what they do. Any work I don't do myself goes to them.

Set alignment up wrong let car leave and car was very unsafe to drive equivalent to a death wobble needed rear camber bars replaced took it back they redid the alignment correctly after new parts replacement drives better only thing they should have refused to do the job as it need parts to properly and safety do the alignment they also knew it needs wheel hubs but didn't say anything
