I go to this Walmart quite a bit. It is clean and normally has what I'm looking for. The staff is usually friendly and helpful.

To the grocery stores and retail chains hooked on self-checkout:
We see exactly what you’re doing.
Yesterday, I walked into your store.
I picked out my groceries.
I scanned them.
I bagged them.
I paid for them.
And then? You stopped me at the door to check my receipt.
Wait a minute—
I did the shopping.
I did the scanning.
I did the bagging.
I even paid—without a single cashier’s help.
And now you treat me like a thief?
That’s not convenience.
That’s unpaid labor—served with a side of suspicion.
Here’s the truth:
If customers are doing the work of your cashiers, then treat us with the same trust and respect you give your employees. Or better yet—hire real people again.
Because this isn’t about “faster checkout.”
It’s about cutting jobs, boosting profits, and shifting the workload onto us—without pay, without perks, not even a simple thank you.
What happened to the student who relied on that cashier job?
The single parent stretching every dollar?
The retiree who found purpose and community at work?
Where are they now—while I do their job for free?
If I’m the cashier, where’s my paycheck?
My employee discount?
My lunch break?
You can’t have it both ways.
We are customers—not free labor.
We are not your cashiers.
We are not your security guards.
Respect your workers.
Respect your customers.
Bring back real service.

I want to give a big thank you to Ryan and Patricia for helping me when I was looking for an item that was not on the Shelf. They checked inventory and went into the back and got it for me which made my day and I was able to cook a big meal for my family. They could have ran the other way when I asked for help but they helped me and thank you all for that!

This store looks old from the outside but it’s nice inside. It was well stocked and staffed. Today, that is worth a lot. My son rode a bike with training wheels around while we shopped. I appreciate that no one fussed at us.

If you’re going in to get your items, that’s the better option but they may not have what you need it’s a thing that happens a lot.
Pick up gives you squished bread, and out of date items.

Do not buy any Gift Cards from Walmart. Bought a 500 dollar card to pay someone for work done when we opened it and scratched off the label to use online it had a 0 balance. After talking to the fraud department they said it had been used in GA.. I live in VA have not been to GA in about 9 years...Not to mention this card has never been opened. I contacted Walmart Fraud Gift Card devision and they said SORRY can't do anything about it.. So now we are out 500... Multi Billion $ company sells Fraudulent Gift Cards to Customer. Will never buy another and do not recommend anyone buy one.. TO HIGH OF A RISK!!!!!

Went in on my lunch break from work to grab a pair of shorts because mine had ripped while I was at work. The sticker of the price was marked on clearance for $8. I go to checkout and they ring up for $11. I call someone over and even show them the sticker. They take it to someone else and the other person said they were ringing up for $11 still. The lady brings them back to me and says there’s nothing else she can do. As someone who has worked in customer service, I have always been told the customer is always right. Even if they weren’t on clearance any longer, I feel as though something else should’ve been done. Either let the people have the item for what y’all are advertising it for or get the employees to properly change out the clearance tags.

Impossible to find fresh veggies here, esp lettuce assortments in the boxes/bags. Always slimy even when in date, or burnt and withered from the coolers freezing everything. Nightmare to try to shop because they insist on stocking pallets during business hours. Only Carries basic items, better off going to locations out of town. Staff is compromised of grumpy old people and foul mouthed street kids that don’t want to be there in the first place
