Whether you are lucky enough to board, are looking for lessons, or buying or selling your horse, Marissa and her team are a rare find to give you and horse the best care. Eventing focused but really focused on the basics for success in any discipline. She’s a very positive teacher and have never seen her be rough or rude. I love that she pushes students to do better in a kind way. She also runs a stunningly charming BnB that I stayed at and highly recommend. This farm is so peaceful, it was quiet, clean, modern, and fully prepared with anything you’d need. Love the rocking chairs on the porch to unwind on the farm. Super close to word class equestrian venues in the heart of horse country, but you don’t have to be an equestrian to enjoy! A true gem in Area 2!

I started riding with Marissa in the beginning of 2021 when I was an extremely timid rider. Marissa understood & heard me when I needed her help, and she helped me fall in love with the sport again. Marissa was patient, kind, encouraging & beyond understanding with me. Marissa provides top notch care for each & every horse that steps onto her property. Horses and riders thrive in her program & grow in their career substantially. Not only is Marissa a phenomenal trainer, but she is extremely knowledgeable in multiple disciplines and can transform horses unlike anyone I’ve seen. She taught me much more than how to just ride my horse - she taught me how to understand my horse. I genuinely cannot say enough great things about this barn & the team that comes with it.

I first met Marissa at my old job when I was bartending/serving and we just hit it off. Fast forward years later and I’m now leasing a horse from her and training with her. She has so much passion about this industry and her riders (we are family) in the best way. I always look forward to my time out at the barn and learning from her because she is so knowledgeable. Can’t wait to learn more from such a wonderful person.

I have been working for marissa for a few weeks now and i absolutely love Marissa and the farm. Super flexible and great with communication, wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!

Marissa is a nasty person to deal with, one call to her and you can tell she is bothered to deal with customers. im staying far away.
