“First off, the views are impeccable. We sat on the balcony on the second floor and we could get a panoramic view of the vineyards. The baked Brie was super yummy and the wine tasting was great. We ended up buying a bottle of The Donkey rose wine, because we loved it so much (note: I usually don't like rose, but this was an exception). Service was good. Definitely coming back for more wine tasting!”

“We stayed at Stone Manor last weekend and everything was perfect! The owners are super sweet and accommodating. We stayed in the Peacock room and it was very clean and had a huge shower!! The bed was very comfortable as well. The breakfast was delicious! We cannot wait to go back!!”

“We got married there in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic! Natallia and Anthony were amazing through it all, and brought our dreams of a having a wedding in the midst of changing laws and widely varying levels of comfort among our guests. Aside from that - Natallia is an absolute *gift* of a wedding planner. She brings her experienced and elevated designer perspective into creating your ideal aesthetic. And, whether you are a person who has very specific desires or perhaps you’re like me and you just had a few words and mood boards to give her, she is going to blow it out of the park and make it beautiful. Way more beautiful than just copying the example photos you give her!”

“This is a difficult review for me to do as I had a wonderful time at a wedding. I say this because the people who work there did the best they could do with what they had.What I want to stress is that because of miserable cold, rain, and wind...the entire ceremony had to be done indoors. The building is an older 'mish-mosh' of old buildings or rooms added on over the years.The history of this place immediately goes back to George Washington owning the land, which is true, but ultimately historically meaningless for the building of the ceremony was held was built in the early 1920's. The rooms are small and fairly well maintained with a few rough areas like worn-out steps needing paint or some other coating. Also, the desk area of the concierge was cluttered with boxes and the brochure rack was more empty than utilized.What I would say is that the employees did a wonderful job with Jade being versatile and wonderfully nice in the many roles she handled while there.I would suggest that this place be utilized as long as your overall ceremony is less than 25 people in total. It is just too small to hold any more than that amount.I would strongly suggest more signage as every single person that drove here stopped at the first building not knowing it was not the correct building. Zero signage as we drove onto the property.It was a nice place but there were too many little details to prevent me from giving 5 stars.”

“My wife and I booked Shadow Creek for our wedding in 2023 because we loved the open feel of the indoor space, the romantic vibe, and the privacy it offered. It ended up being the perfect location for our ceremony and reception!They have such an amazing team that made our dream come to life. They are organized, friendly, and flexible. Our day turned out exactly as we imagined and it is thanks to their exceptional team!Another great perk of this venue is their rental properties right down the street. We were able to book both rental properties for the wedding party and it gave us peace of mind for day of coordination. We forgot a few things at the rental and had to drive back, but it wasn't a problem because they were so close by.They have such a special venue and location that doesn't compare to anywhere else. We are so happy and fortunate to have had the opportunity to get married here - they've provided us with so many priceless memories to last a lifetime.Please seriously consider this venue if you are planning to get married, you won't regret it!”

“Visited this place for the first time today and gotta say we loved it!!!!! The staff here was super friendly, snacks are pretty affordable, and what we like the most was that they have chairs and couches for us parents to sit back and watch our kiddos have fun. 10/10.”

“Pretty decent wash. They'd get 5 stars if the back window of my SUV was completely rinsed and they didn't put a plastic baggie on the rear windshield wiper, necessitating me to drive around the side where I can take it off and throw it in the trash can. It isn't unusual to see one or more just outside the car wash on the pavement.”

“If I could have given this review more than five stars, I definitely would have.From the moment my daughter and now son-in-law walked into the Middleburg Barn, they knew that this was the place they wanted to get married. My daughter is a horseback rider and my son-in-law loves country living. I was hoping they would choose a venue that was elegant and where our guests would be comfortable. The Middleburg Barn checked all of those boxes.You will absolutely love Maureen, the owner, as we do. Always sweet and pleasant, she went above and beyond to accommodate a few special situations we encountered. She runs her business in a professional way, and is prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. The vendors we selected from her list of preferred vendors all did a fabulous job, too.I am so happy that we chose The Middleburg Barn, I recommend it to a friend, and her daughter will be having her wedding there, too.If you are looking for an elegant venue with rustic charm that is reasonably priced, this is the place for your wedding, too!”

“My wife and I had a wonderful spring wedding here!We always wanted a beautiful natural setting for our wedding and what better place than a farm! East Lynn was the only one of the many venues we looked at that was an actual working farm. We were living out of state when we booked this venue. When we finally came to visit, it was even more stunning in person than it was in the photos!”

“Visiting from Maryland, we stumbled upon this gem for dinner. Sommelier Kristy was amazing and made the experience for us. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and has clearly helped build a phenomenal wine list. We were shocked.Food was also incredible. Every dish that came out was perfect. Three little pigs was to die for - beef tenderloin also phenomenal. Great whiskey selection too.Highly recommend for anyone, but particularly people into wine. Thanks Kristy!”
