The heavy set white female that was at the front desk had racist comments about blacks not belonging in this hotel as she watches me open pool room with my room key. I put an official complaint with corporate. I also have it recorded. Just waiting on response from corporate. Before I sent it to You tube.

Lashonda is the best! I was having a hard time with some unexpected circumstances and she made sure my days were good while I was there. Every morning. I stay at Marriotts because of the people you all hire. Thank you.

The young lady customer service has room for improvement. She also need to speak loudly and clearly, I had to call back downstairs to find out where the towels and extra blanket we requested was. She then stated you have to come back to get them. Excuse me, we were just getting off work exhausted had she spoken more clearly and bit louder we would've clearly just waited at the desk. I had to get dressed and come back downstairs to find the items blankets I'm suppose to sleep under pillow I'm suppose to rest my head on just sitting up on the counter out in the open by the front door. Unbelievable. I then get to the room and the blanket was so hard and just uncomfortable and our company book there alot. She didn't even have the common courtesy to put the pillow case on the pillow. Very lazy young lady, please find better people to have at your front desk. You should want returning customers not running customers off.

First time staying at this hotel for my conference and I have to say everything here is wonderful. Sholonda from the front is an absolute dream and I would love if she took care of checking me every hotel I went to. Rooms were crisp and clean. A great experience

The highlight of the stay was the kind lady who prepared and assisted with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We were in town for my mother-in-law's graveside service and her compassion and extra TLC was much appreciated. We were there on May 17-19th. Never underestimate how welcome a smile can make a person feel.

The layout of the King 1 bedroom suite is perfect. Unfortunately, it appeared that our room had a leak from above at one point and hadn't been repaired. The sink also had a slow drain. But other than that the room was great. Newer property with a good location.The front desk staff that checked us in Saturday afternoon was super friendly. Wish I remembered her name.Would stay here again and hopefully there won't be any deferred maintenance.

Room had a bad patch job on roof leak, frayed carpet, broken garbage disposal, light bulbs out, dishes were still in the dishwasher from previous tenant. Hotel staff is friendly and attentive though.

Last year when I stayed I gave this hotel a five star rating. The service all around was fantastic. The hotel is still very clean, and the location is close to so many Southside locations.The four rating was because in our room there was a crack in the ceiling where there was an obvious leak right above the bed. Someone tried to patch it and did a poor job. The white paint that was used for touch up didn't match. Also, the burlap looking bottom mattress cover looked like a cat used it as a scratching post. Lastly, the ceiling light bulb between the bed and bathroom was burnt out.These are easy fixes, but only if management is visiting rooms and paying attention.I hope to leave a five star rating next time I stay.

Friendly staff. staff members where helpful an well informed about the area,free breakfast buffet rooms are lovely pet friendly 100$ non refundable prices go up on the weekends. Pool 365days a year fire pit an patio 24 hr gym an laundry room.Rooms: Rooms are like a 1 bed room apartments the studio room are open. The 1 bed rooms have the front room separated from the bed room and bathroom. Handicap accessible all rooms have sto e top an stoves.Nearby activities: The mall and other activities are 5 minutes away
