Corner Store is a delightful, friendly place known for its amazing and delectable sandwiches. Reviewers highlight the best BLT, chicken salad, pimento chicken, chicken bacon ranch, ham, fried chicken, and roast beef and cheddar sandwiches, as well as grilled cheese. The food is done perfectly with clean, fresh ingredients. Sides like picnic macaroni salad, deviled eggs, and Italian pasta salad are also excellent, and the desserts, including unbelievable little apple pies, delicious cookies, and chocolate cake, are impressive.
The staff is awesome, very friendly, and provides great service with warm welcomes and helpful menu recommendations. The owners, a husband and wife team, run the establishment. The overall experience is wonderful, making it a go-to lunch spot.
Some notes mention a high cost, no readily available free water or fountain drinks, and no public restroom. Despite this, customers are so impressed they plan return visits, even driving from other towns specifically to eat there.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves well made home style food made with quality and care. Everything we ordered was delicious, the care and quality of ingredient that went into making our order shows. I will definitely be back for more!
