My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. It exceeded our expectations. The dinner was amazing and the best we have had in recent memory. The service was excellent. The suite was beautiful and comfortable. This is our new favorite place to stay and plan on many visits in the future.

Excellent choice for a getaway. The room was cozy with a live fireplace, mini-frig, and private bathroom with shower. From our bed, we had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the rolling hills. The grounds are plentiful with areas to sit, relax with your own private fire pit. Checking-in the staff was top notch, with plenty of options for breakfast. The only reason not all 5 stars was that the diner onsite was not available that night. We will definitely return and take in more of the surrounding attraction.Rooms: We stayed in the main house, which maintained its original antique allure with modern updates. Cozy for a couples retreat.Nearby activities: Wineries, horseback riding, local restaurants, trails, scenic Virginia.

Stayed at the B&B in October of 2023 for a Shenandoah Valley fall foliage getaway. The staff were very helpful from the moment that I arrived, even offering to help unload my car and carry luggage to the room. The room, with its hardwood floors and yellow color palette, had a great French countryside vibe. I especially liked the selections of coffee and teas in the room, which we could enjoy in the easy-chairs in front of the fireplace. Grounds were beautiful in the fall, and overall this was a great base camp for exploring the area.

If you’re looking for a high end superior Bed & Breakfast…LOOK NO FURTHER! My wife and I spent 3 nights at L’Auberge Provencale for our anniversary and were blown away. Our room was perfect for a weekend getaway away with a king bed, a sitting room, a porch and best of all a steam shower! The property is beautiful and has lots of open space. While the exterior isn’t anything special due to the age, the interior is super well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and treated you like royalty. Cannot wait for our next stay!

This place was fantastic! We stayed for four nights in the Lafayette suite and it was gorgeous and comfortable. The staff were very courteous and attentive; the food was superb - the breakfasts were my personal highlight ?; the location is fantastic for a quick on the grounds or visits to Old Town Winchester, Antietam and Manassas Battlefields, beautiful Shenandoah nature walks such as at Sky Meadows and Skyline Drive.Highly recommend ♥️? ? ? ☀️

Anyone heading anywhere near the north entrance to the Blue Ridge Highway should definitely make this B & B the start of a great vacation. Our one night stay was all we've come to expect in staying at B & B's. The accommodations were excellent only to be surpassed by the dinning. Staff friendly and very professional. My wife and I stayed the end of February luckily having mild weather and an opportunity to sit on the porch and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We've always believed traveling and staying at B & B's is the only way to go. L'Auberge Provencale is on our list for mini vaca this spring/summer.

If you want to be pampered, this is the place to go. Stayed for two nights. In-room massage shortly after checkin. Drinks on the lawn out back to watch the sunset. Dinner in nearby Winchester (Violino was fantastic). Breakfast in room. Visited Shanendoah Caverns and then hike on AT. Took advantage of the hiking backpack picnic. Amazing. Dinner and jazz Friday night. Breakfast in the dining room before checkout. Fantastic food, fantastic service. This is the kind of place you want to do well so you can go back, but don’t want to tell everyone about so you can get a res when you want to go. Not inexpensive, but worth the spend.

Very pretty property in a pastoral setting. Our room (Monet) was clean, comfortable, updated, lovely. I would choose a room at the back of the inn if possible next time because of the road noise, but in the end, it didn't really bother us. The breakfast was probably the best we've ever had at a B & B, and the service at the inn and restaurant was friendly, unassuming, and thoughtful. After a day of hiking Shenandoah National Park and dinner in Front Royal, we returned to a surprise dessert in our room. Would give it 6 stars if I could; this place is a gem.

I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious, although I would have preferred a different presentation of the menu. However, it was not a big problem, as breakfast is totally worth it and is included with your stay. Dinner was also a great experience, as the food was good.Rooms: The room was spacious with a very nice view, it had a small fire pit, a large bed, everything was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious, it arrived ten minutes earlier than expected. I stayed there and had a very beautiful anniversary dinner. I would totally recommend itFood & drinks: I had an exceptional dining experience at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and each dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The restaurant itself was immaculate, with impeccable decor and a lovely ambiance. The waiters were extremely professional, friendly, and polite, and they made the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and delighted with every aspect of my visit.

Had the most wonderful Sunday brunch here. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. We had the oysters, scallops, octopus and eggs Benedict. The flavors of each dish were just divine, and the hollandaise sauce is out of this world.

This place is disgusting. Overpriced everything. Food is terrible and very expensive. Room was dingy. The phots can't show musty odors. Parking was awful. They have 1 handicap parking spot that was taken up by a car with no handicap plate or tag. Dining room was depressing. We ate while smelling the cleaning solution from the bar floor being cleaned. Nice added touch there!I agree with the other negative reviews. However, I can't understand the 5-star reviews. Either people don't know better, or this place pays for fake 5-star reviews. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
