I get Shell gas wherever possible but after the pump stubbornly wouldn't accept my card twice while incessantly playing Skittles ads I couldn't mute, I saved my time and sanity by going across I-85 to the Exxon where at least you can mute the ads.

The owner of this gas station is AMAZING! i
I pulled in for gas. A man told the pumps were down. I especially thanked him to know before I got my walker out (I'm disabled). He hesitated a minute and then said follow me to the other side of exit where there were other gas stations. We went there and he proceeded to pump my gas. I got out to stretch my legs and we started to talk. I'm a 70 y.o. female with NY license plates. He said he was happy to see people like me on road trips and that his father often worked at his gas station. ???
He owns the first gas station where I pulled in and was waiting for a part for his gas pumps! He got my car filled and this old lady back on the road just because...
Thank you, Sir...

By far the slowest I have ever been at. Only 1 customer in front and the 2 lady's making the subs should not be in this type of business if they can't move faster then a snail. We end up leaving and going to Subway down the street.

Being a truck driver from NC, I love the place. Just a small country area with good people. The sweet tea is amazing.

This is one of my favorite places to park the truck on I-85. The parking lot is spacious, and you can spend a quiet, peaceful night back here. Good restaurants and people inside. Well-stocked convenience store with clean restrooms.

I purchased four items and charged my card. The purchase was approved but was $2 short. The cashier, instead of letting me pay the additional, or taking back an item, just voids it entirely without warning leaving me with no items and a maxed out card.

Walked in to find Chris (Kringle?) singing a Christmas Carol under his mask. I thought that was lovely for a young man working as cashier on a Saturday night. Gas was $1.93/gallon so I felt like singing too. Chris also chipped in 4 pennies for me as I dug in my purse to pay for some drinks. Just a pit stop for me on a long drive but it was a pleasant place and I would definitely stop here again. All CDC and Virginia state guidelines followed on 12-19-20.

On our way back to DC. Stopped here for gas and a bathroom break. It doesn't look like much, but the bathrooms are clean and everyone was wearing masks. Compared to DC gas prices, the cost of gas was cheap. There's some green space for dogs. Also a Quizno's and Pizza Hut attached. It says "Krispy Kreme" on the sign, but it's really just a shelf of Krispy Kreme goods by the door. There's also a beer fridge in the back with a variety of choices if you're looking to grab some on the go (for home, of course).
