Terrible. Don't see Maria circosta if you want any empathy or compassion. OR if you want to discuss treatment options! This one is her way or the highway! And then she might put a nasty comment in your chart and even say she discussed something with you that didn't even happen!! Maybe she got you mixed up with another patient?! Bad mistake Maria. Maybe you should think of changing jobs. Maybe one where you don't have to work with people. Especially suffering people. Maybe go get another job since you obviously hate the one you have.

I needed a PCP due to my other "doctor" never being available. I filled out the online forms and in a span of 2-3 days (can't remember) I was contacted by Carilion Clinic. They scheduled me out and let me know they would be sending in my forms by mail to fill out. 1 week before my appointment I received all my forms and filled them and took them to my appointment. I arrived 15 min earlier and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was so impressed by how fast their service was since I was used to waiting for 30 min or more at my last doctor. Kelly Rupp was awesome and she listened to everything I had to say. She was very professional and friendly. Needless to say I WILL be coming back to her for my medical needs.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Carilion Clinic Bridgewater especially my Nurse Practitioner Maria Circosta. She is caring and very knowledgeable and explains a lot of information. I highly recommend her and the staff at Carilion.

Dr akin use to care about her patients but don't anymore (my opinion)to be a dr and church going person she simply dismissed my mental state my physical state one excuse after another even after I explained i needed her as my pcp because i had always thought highly of her it was her and the carillon office that initiated high does of pain meds years ago when i had no real medical reason no imaging to warrant 360 30mg oxycodone plus others plus benzos that led to 7yrs of total life changing years later I honestly have medical documentation and need her on many levels and she dismissed me like a number not a patient. Highly disappointed in her as ik she once cared about people dont go there expecting to be anything other than a number drs are supposed to listen and understand what each person is going through especially if theyre telling you about depression etc please lol don't expect it i was still talking when she left to go into the next patient because she was 45 mins late coming to see me i was dismissed as if it went in one went out the other.when in reality 360 oxys 360 methadone 90 Xanax a month im lucky to be alive for as many years they said it was safe.its been years and after everything i still expected dr. Akin to care about me as a person because of all my drs in my life she was very compassionate she use to care use to listen please dont go in with your eyes closed i wont go back and I would recommend a family dr that actually listens and gives advice sometimes to just listen is the best thing a dr can do if you dont feel you matter or are being heard your probably not in right place.

I am 67 yrs old just moved from N.Y. and was afraid to look for a new Dr. And start all over from scratch. I booked an appointment with Dr. Akin and I had an amazing experience. She actually listen to me and focused on me. Wow I was so impressed. Everyone in ofc was kind and caring. I highly recomend Dr. Akin to everyone if your looking to find someone who truly listens to you. I did not feel rushed or brushed off. Looking forward to my follow up visit.

I just finished a visit with Dr. Claire Akin. She was professional, kind, on time and thorough. So glad I had a chance to get in with her. The people at the desk were great and so was her nurse.

I was supposed to get bloodwork done in March. They called and told me they weren’t going to do it but I could go next door (Sentara Imaging). I said no. I was quite taken aback because I wasn’t sick at all. Just needed bloodwork done. I thought a drs job was to see sick people , I wasn’t even sick and Dr. Moss wouldn’t even see me. In July I got a bladder infection. I knew what it was so I thought since dr. Moss was afraid to see patients (sick or not sick) that maybe he would call in a prescription for me. HA! I called and couldn’t talk to a person. I could only leave a message and they would call me back. I left a very detailed message of my symptoms and what I knew it was and asking them to call a prescription in for me. They called me back and left a message saying for me to call Bridgewater Carilion Clinic. I did. Same thing. Leave a message. Keep in mind I am miserable through all this. This went on until I’d finally had enough. So I left a message saying I never get to talk to anybody so please leave a message for me if I miss the call either saying yes prescription or no prescription. Simple! Evidently this made Connie mad because she finally left me a message saying that Dr. Moss was not in this week and the other associates didn’t have any openings for visits or calls. REALLY??? Why didn’t they tell me that at the beginning of the week ? After the first phone call? I was in a misery and could have gone a different route if I would have known Dr. Moss wasn’t even in ! So needless to say I won’t be a patient of theirs anymore. His staff did a poor job and I don’t understand a Dr. that is scared to see sick or healthy people!! I thought that is why they charged ridiculously outrageous prices because of the risk they take and their expertise. Dr. Moss you are fired and your staff should be also!

Dr. Moss is the best! I am 68 years old and very particular about the quality of my medical care. We recently relocated to the valley and my wife and I feel extremely blessed that we were referred to Dr. Moss by our friends. In Florida, my wife and I used Mayo clinic and Mayo Primary Care physicians and we were absolutely delighted with the quality of the medical treatment we received. After moving to the valley we weren’t optimistic that we would find a doctor who would meet our high expectations. After several appointments with Dr. Moss it is crystal clear that his medical expertise and ”bedside manner” are equal to or superior to Mayo Clinic physicians. My wife and I could not be more delighted to have Dr. Moss as our primary care physician. Thank you Dr. Moss for being the best! We would also like to thank Dr. Moss‘ nurse Karen for also being the best. Karen is friendly and kind and she does a great job.

This is the second time I stopped by to have blood work done. Both times the front desk reception was friendly, as well as the lab tech. I overheard a few of the elderly clients say they are so glad to have this service nearby. I felt I needed to write this due to seeing only negative things from a year ago. I arrived at 8am and was done by 8:30.

I have been in to see the Dr. there only once. I started going there due to an insurance change. (not happy about changing providers) I had gone to be able to maintain my medications. (highblood pressure and Depression) I had moved to VA beach unexpectedly around the time of my next visit. I asked to have my meds refilled for at least another month or 2 so I can get my insurance and provider established where I am at. I was told he will not refill my medications because I missed my last appointment. these are meds I have been on for over a year. I was told to go to an urgent care or emergency clinic until I get my self established. (which I have been trying to do all the while getting my family settled from the move.) So needless to say I not only have to deal with the stress of a new job, getting a family settled, now I have to worry about how I'm getting my Rx taken care of. I don't ever write reviews good or bad on google but this is definately needed ESPECIALLY after reading the reviews. I can realate to some of the other reviews on here too. Front office staff is totally unprofessional! Thanks but no thanks.
