I stopped in one day last fall for the first and only time. The woman behind the counter did not even acknowledge my presence. When I asked her a question, she was so rude I turned and left the store. I won’t go back nor recommend to anyone I know.

We got some really good tomatoes here, and some pears and a jar of mild chow chow. We arrived near closing time, so we'll have to return to investigate further. Good produce can be difficult to find.

Not too expensive for what you are getting! I heard rumors that this place was kind of pricey but if you look around you can find some really affordable meals for home cooking and awesome homemade products that I find hard to get elsewhere. They do accept EBT and are some of the nicest people in this community!

JR's Produce has a wonderful selection of produce and homemade products.
Their spice selection is amazing as well.
JR's Produce also has seasonal decorations.
It feels like an old country store.
