Hi I was at the bristol va location on Oct 31st at around 945 pm at a self checkout when 2 of your employees one was named Donnie and the other one was a young blonde headed boy caused a hellausious secen with a middle aged man who was checking out falsely accusing him of shopping lifting embarrassed him really bad and told him to get the f outta there store and they didn't give a f about him..when this man didn't do anything inappropriate they followed him to his car I have this unacceptable behavior on video and it will get out to the media because this representing your company..he went to the desk to try to gt management and was told there was none..I would highly recommend these to getting fired because after speaking to other employees this am this happens quit frequently but everyone over looks it Even ur so called magement..im sure I wasn't they only one who got it on video..if it would of happened to me I wouldn't of left the store that easiesly or nicely..so what kind of people do u hire..

Employees are hard working but extremely mistreated by the stuck up arrogant rude customers. People need to under stand that the employees are over worked the store is short staffed give them a break think about your fellow man before you yell or scream at them. Employees are great and friendly but the customers are rude hateful and greedy the customers that shop here make me feel ashamed of my fellow man

The best thing about this location is the board head deli meat, the lines are usually very long and customer service can be lacking. The cantaloupes and Athena melons were surrounded by fruit flies

i am very disappointed in the meat dept. The lady that is over this dept is very rude. I shop early, i spend 100. to 200 a week. I usually shop 9am. Never any meat in the meat case...i like to pick out my tenderloin steaks. I never complain about any of krogers associates . we are a union family, my husband retired from ibew lu 934.

The best store to find what you are looking for. A great selection of everyday needs and a lot of hard to find items here. Great sales and staff is always helpful and friendly.

I have ZERO issues with stores utilizing anti-theft measures, but my experience today in BRISTOL was beyond explanation!! I used a CASHIER LANE, the cart was unloaded on the belt, pushed fully through the lane and the bagger placed my groceries back on the cart. Imagine my ANGER as I walked through the 1st exit door and the cart wheel completely LOCKED UP?? What was this?? After trying to move it out of the way, a worker came up and informed me it was security locked "because I didn't take the cart fully through checkout"??? She CHECKED MY RECEIPT, UNLOCKED MY CART AND TANKED ME AS IF ALL WAS WELL! It is NOT WELL!!! I do NOT APPRECIATE BEING LOCKED AT THE DOOR! You want to question my cart, WALMART ME, STAND THERE AND LOOK FIRST! I DIDN'T EVEN CHECK MYSELF OUT!

Kroger is now my official go to for all things dairy-free. There natural foods selection far out ways other local markets. I am forced to be dairy free now and I can find all my substitutes here. All but cottage cheese. I will have to let that one go and move on. Although, I will say this stuff is not cheap! Why can't we get healthy food options at the same price as other items? Stuff that is bad for us is penny's compared to healthy.

Love this store great prices and very helpful. I do have one complaint and its not about this store but about Krogers in general. Theuused to have amazing potatoe chips of there brand the regular, lightly salted and my favorite was the ketttle cooked jalapeño chips theu was amazing! But the sad new is they uave changed ship makers or something cause the new lroger brand of chips are no good at all

I think they have the best fried chicken around but they hardly have any ready. The last two times I've gone there specifically for their chicken, they didn't have any and when I asked if they were going to put any more out, I got the same answer both times..."it's in the process, it'll be about 30 minutes". It wasn't.That's my complaint and the reason for just the 3 stars. It was supposed to be only 3 but came up 5.

Will never shop here again. I stopped by for a few items for dinner. Upon preparing these items, the taste was very off, I knew something was wrong immediately. 3 of the 4 items I purchased were EXPIRED by WEEKS. I immediately packaged what was left of each item and went back to Kroger. DONNIE front end manager assisted me in my return. I was chastised for bringing back “opened items”. “Was this open when you bought it?” I should not have to check expiration dates. I realize mistakes happen but this was 4 items from 4 corners of the store. DONNIE was so rude to me, why? Food city has far better steaks anyway.

(Last Week) If it wasn’t for my recent visit to the Kroger‘s, I wouldn’t have remembered to post this review which is long overdue. I don’t know if it was a vendor or an actual employee of Kroger’s, but while I was shopping, there was this pallet that was stacked too high that could’ve easily fallen, but the employee simply ignored it as they chatted with the female over by the bakery department. Customers shouldn’t have to move out of employees way. It should be the other way around and there shouldn’t be anything that would cause that hazard or that would make it so a customer would have to leave or not go in the area that they were hoping to get food or whatever else they could get at the store. The male definitely looked relaxed. Anyways, besides not being able to find the product I was looking for while walking through the store it just brought up the memories that I forgot that I was supposed to post it a while back about how I really felt about visiting the store for the very first time..What I thought .:End of Last Year Visit:.Awful place to visit. The place or the employees just make me feel dirty when I visit the store. The manager??? Idk seems to have an attitude and a sweaty appearance (messy hair and clothes (maybe he was lifting products in the back. Idk)) there were a lot of employees hanging around the front not assisting customers. They were chatting amongst themselves and on their cellphones. They have no real dress code for their employees. They should. It’s a profession environment no matter what the job is.*** that being said I’m not talking about all employees. Some actually looked like they tried and knew their job. ***I really wish they had a Harris Teeter nearby. At least they have some standards.I would never judge a whole company because of a few individuals that I didn’t care for because of their actions and words used towards me. That wouldn’t be fair. Especially since I’m just now being it to their attention and they have not been able to improve their store or business from my feedback. I just hope they take it seriously.I will say I did visit the another location soon after that and they had a nicer store and the manager was dressed nicely and he had no problem assisting me. Sadly it doesn’t change the view I had of the Bristol VA store . Do better.

I always look forward to going to Kroger. I always find everything I need and lots of things that I want while I am here. In addition, the prices are very reasonable. The appearance of the store itself is always very clean and well maintained. Thanks Kroger for another pleasurable trip to the grocery store.
