It would've been 5 stars because of the girl who knew what she was talking about and stopped me. I walked in there and got greater, the older lady with short brownish blonde hair asked me if I needed any help and I said yes, I wanted to tone my hair down to about a T18, she grabbed the "toner" but it was black dye. I went to go check out and the lady at the check out asked me if i was going black and i said no i love my blonde hair. She grabbed the correct stuff. They should only hire people who know what they are doing. Not some idiot.

I love going here they have some of the best hair dye. I'm not a huge fan of the prices but definitely happy with what I get.

I have always been a fan of Sally's until now. I always go to the store in Bristol, Virginia. They have recently moved some of the hair products out of that store and you have to order them online or travel to another store. Called Johnson city store they did not have what I needed, called Kingsport, no one answered the phone. To order online it charges you about $6 to $10 for shipping depending on what you order. Online it also says that 2 hour delivery is available in the headline on their website, but 2-hour delivery is not available everywhere, they should probably note that and stop with the false advertising. If you were able to get this product in store you would not have to pay the shipping cost. Sally's should really work on that, plus their customer service. I called to complain because they close the store where I live and they lady couldn't hear so a 20 minute call turned into 45 minutes. Do better Sally's and work on your customer service. It's called training. Sally's use to be the place where I would go for black haircare products and sadly that is being done away with.

????!! I used to like going to sally’s to pick up pony tail pieces, hair extensions, or braiding hair to do my hair real quick. There is no other place in Bristol that carried black products the way they did, so this was my go to place. They basically said “f” the AA customers and got rid of everything for us. Now its white washed like the rest of everything else, and they tell us we can go to their store in another city. What about the people who dont have rides? What are they supposed to do? Its so disheartening and disgusting? ughhh!!

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I came to this store wanting to help my friend lighten her hair, followed by an auburn color. I asked a lady with long brown wavy hair and ugly purple lipstick For help. She was VERY rude and disrespectful. I told her I would figure it out after getting irritated with her attitude. She then asked a little girl if she needed help finding something for her ethnic hair (she was African American, as am I). The little girl stated that she wanted extensions, followed by the employee telling her she could not get clip in extensions, but could get braid in hair for her hair texture. I was highly disturbed by that statement, knowing that I am African American and clip-ins are very much acceptable in our ethnic hair. After hearing her commentary, I decided not to give them my business and went to the Kingsport location (they were very kind and helpful). I do not recommend going to the Bristol Virginia Sallys, nor seeking help from that employee.

Overall the store is okay the employees are usually really nice the only thing that irks me a little is when closing time says 7pm and I get off at 630 from work so I’m thinking I can make it .... I arrive at 6:42 and the store is locked up tight no employees in sight !!!! Ugh a wasted trip !!!
