Happened to be hungry so I stopped in to this Harris teeter instead of going to subway or some other unhealthy fast food places. I remember some years ago getting a tuna sub from there and I wanted to try it again. Ran into the two most marvelous people the young lady was preparing the sushi her name escapes me and Mr Gil. The reason I remember his name is because he was the gentleman that prepared my sandwich. He did such a awesome job I had to give this place a review. Everything was clean and spartan to the point that you'd think you'd walked on a movie set but enough of that back to Mr.Gil and the time and patience he took to make my sandwich and to get everything correct. He was even nice enough to point out that the sandwich was on sale. If you ever wonder out that far and want a bite to eat don't go to those fast food places walk yourself in Harris teeter and go to the sandwich counter you'll get an exceptional treat if Mr Gil is there

I usually love Harris teeter but this one almost always has expired products out on the shelf and we always have to check dates before we buy especially for dairy items. Produce is also usually not fresh at this location. Disappointing quality.

Harris teeter is one of the finest grocery stores but now they rely on customers self checkout and is there a break in cost ? No. This is a food lion move . Wait food lion doesn't have 1 cashier , they have 4 +
Thank you for nothing Harris teeter.

This was one of those places that carry many of the items that you look for and actually has it.

For a long time I’ve always chosen Harris Teeter over Safeway because I live in between the 2. But lately HT has been out of stock of some produce I need every time I go in. Having to go to 2 different stores every trip isn’t worth it so until someone fixes this issue, I’ll be using Harris Teeter a lot less frequently.

They almost always have what I'm looking for, and it's usually pretty good quality. It's kind of weird that lately, a lot of merchandise does not have the price visible.

For some reason every time I come to get a sandwich made from your deli, it seems like the person making the sandwich is doing it for the first time. I don't mean making for the first time at Harris Teeter, I mean making one for the first time in their lives. They make the sandwich as if they don't know how to put on condiments, how much of condiments to put on, how to layer the sandwich, or even how to fold it properly so that the meat and cheese don't fall out. I doubt that spending an hour teaching the deli employees how to make a sandwich will slaughter the bottom line of the store, but apparently the store doesn't seem to care. Their lack of management is why we try not to buy groceries there and instead drive 10 minutes to Target to avoid buying expired products still on the shelf, I am talking about canned items too (which is insane). A Panera bread has just opened up down the in the same shopping center and its clear I should be buying sandwiches from them instead of coming home with the garbage you put together and having to remake it so it is acceptable. I would tell you to do better but this is clearly as far as you can take it. Hopefully the Aldi opening across the street will diminish your business enough that it can be replaced with something valuable.

This is a nice store. Great produce. I still can't get over the checkout process. It seems so much slower than a regular Kroger checkout.

Always a good experience shopping here but not for all items of course. All employees have always been helpful when in need. Deli is the best!
