Place used to be decent when it opened, I guess a lot of places In Bristow are like that these days, explanation for the 2nd star, and a few decent interactions in the pastStaff is rude, place is so slow, and like most urgent care your just better off roughing it out rather than waiting over and hour for a flu/Covid testNever ended up getting in, sign on door says “talk to receptionist if waited over 20 minutes”Waited an hour and I go up to discuss the situation first word out of the woman’s mouth is “so you just wanna cancel”

With two kids in multiple sports, we have had multiple injuries needing treatment. Dr. Frymoyer has been wonderful to say the least. He’s prompt, and thoroughly assesses what our kids are saying & feeling with each injury, etc. It’s clear sports medicine and helping his patients feel their best, is a passion.

My wife and I have been very pleased with the level of care and professionalism at UVA Health and Sports Medicine. Nurses and doctors are top notch!

Do not visit this location. I’m not recommending it for lack of professionalism and knowledge. After a couple questions the doctor Zeeshan Javaid sent me to ER not even trying to clean or cure the injury. I’m paying over $100 for nothing. Poor medicine practice.

Sorry, need to disagree with the other reviews. My wife has chronic health issues (Diabetes) and recently had throat surgery. A few weeks ago she started coughing endlessly. It was a Saturday afternoon, so options were limited. With her extensive medical history loaded into the UVA Mychart (EHR -powered by Epic) I decided to drive over here vs a much closer urgent care chain. We are so glad we did. they were attentive, X-rayed, tested and prescribed. Follow-up was excellent. She decided to switch her primary over here as well. Excellent attention, careful exam, and again best in class follow-up. They respond promptly to messaging in the portal. With Dr Rehmann in urgent and now Dr Frymoyer as her primary there she feels well attended to and confident she is getting great care.

DO NOT Go to UVA urgent care in Bristow. The nurses are very rude and unprofessional. Nurses did not do a good job in testing for covid or flu. They have no sympathy to the patients. They tried to hurt me like hell even I asked politely that I am afraid of putting a long Q tip in my noses but she pushed it in very hard that made me sick for a week with running noes and sneezing. I am not happy with their services. They should not be the nurses at all. Also, the receptionist at the front desk is so horrible, no manner and very rude person. We are here to beg for food or drink. We are here to see the doctor and we pay for it, not for free but this lady treated me like a homeless. She should take more trainings and I meant it.

Bull Run family medicine is absolutely unprofessional. I had a referral for Orthopedic Surgery, apparently the referral department will cancel the referral if you don't answer their phone call from a random number even though the referral has an expiration date on it not for another 3 months. I called over five times to get the referral opened back up and it has now been over a month with no response. I called the referral department (they never answer the phone) and left a message, nothing. I talked to the staff at Bull Run Bristow so many times now, they keep saying "we will send a message to your doctor to have it reopened" still nothing. I called again today to see what was going on and they said "oh your doctor probably didn't get those messages because we updated our systems". This is absolutely horrible and unprofessional. All they can do is send another message to my doctor but she is now on vacation. I have been trying for so long to just get the referral opened back up and this practice is a complete mess and unorganized and I am suffering because of it. Do not come here.

I've been a patient at this practice since I moved to Manassas, so probably sometime in the 1990s or early 2000s. I've seen most of the doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses and I've never had a problem getting an appointment quickly for an urgent matter and I've only had good experiences with everyone. I've been to the Bristow practice for the last 2 years and can't say enough good things about Kerri or Dr. Drymoyer.

Pro: the staff is amiable and professional. I once had a Doctor here who worked late near the holiday, to make sure things were taken care of. That was after a different clinic failed to do their basic job. Seven stars for that doctor.Con: The facility looks and feels like a storage closet. It hasn't been updated in years. UVA could afford to spend some coin. Some receptionists are more of a phone jockey than others. The hours listed on Google is severely incorrect. The website is not up to date.I've been here a few times over several years. Recently (2022) the communication was poor and the healthcare felt like a C-V-S minuteClinic. "Here's what the book says, one size fits all, you'll live, thanks for your insurance money, any questions?"Some lab work was done out of state and took a week, which no one communicated anything about such. I was told 1-2 days. By the time of results, it was pointless- and ineffective for helping me.For that debauchery, I give two stars. Poor coms. Don't expect patients to ask what they don't know to ask.

Dr. Frymoyer and Nurse Kerri were fantastic. Even their lab tech April deserves recognition. First time at this primary care for a physical and they resolved all of my concerns. Everyone from reception to exit had a pleasant demeanor and were happy to be there.

Do not go to UVA urgent care in Bristow. I went there for headache. The nurse asked me a few question and then she told me to the Emergency Room for imagining. I didn't even see any doctor at the urgent care. Then I went to the hospital. The doctor at ER mentions that I do not need imaging at all, only medicine is needed.

Very hard to reach them on the phone, was trying to come in for an urgent care appointment, because the no one would answer the phone to make an actual appointment. When I arrived, I learned you have to call from your car to check into urgent care, I called twice and no answer, so I walked in and checked in that way. The nurse who brought me back was not talkative, did not tell me what she was doing next, was using one-word phrases with me, and just overall seemed like she did not want to be with me today. However, my doctor was lovely and very nice, and I would love to see her again. As well as the woman who took my blood today, she was very kind as well and made that a great experience.

Have a snakebite. Was told to go to car to call on the phone (waited a long time for the phone to be answered). Receptionist did not have any access to the medical ppl so had to wait even longer for a callback. Then told to go to the ER. They had nothing they could do.

Nope, nope, nope! Never again. Not only was my pain worse after a procedure done here, but come to find out, the cost was even more than going to my Orthopedic doc. I decided to wait for an appointment with Ortho rather than come back here and I'm glad I did; procedure was done correctly and I actually benefited from it.

My wife and I have been going to their Manassas location for my physical for over ten years. I very well know the routine for physical. My insurance covers 100% for physical. My regular doctor stopped seeing patients for physical so, I have decided to go to the Linton Hall location for my this year physical. Thirty days after my visit they sent me a bill for a copay and computer printout for some back exercise. Since this was my first introduction to this doctor, he asked me about my medical history. Out of all, the office picked out my discussion about my back pain (I had already mentioned to the doctor that I get treatment for it from my chiropractor, and I had a detailed evaluation done a month before this visit). When I called the office, they were very unprofessional. They are claiming that I received treatment for back pain, Which I have never received. I opened my visit with the doctor that I am here for my annual physical exam. The doctor should have stopped me if any part of our conversation was not part of an annual physical exam, or he should have asked me to make another appointment. It seems like they want to make some quick buck in one visit. I will not endure these dishonest practices. Because of these types of dishonest practices, our health care cost is skyrocketing. Please make sure to review your bills. I do not have any confidence in this doctor or the practice. I will avoid Novant Health UVA Bull Run Family Medicine in the future.
