My dog had an emergency and Ohana was one of several places we called because his vet was closed. While Ohana was unable to assist last minute, someone called me back and left a message with the names of some urgent care vets. I am not a client of theirs, but I have worked with dogs who needed immediate care and Ohana has always been empathetic, professional and reliable. That call back was a reminder that Ohana is a great clinic with a compassionate staff of people who truly care about animals.

Took my Lab pit mix over here when she was 3-6 months. Didn’t want to spay her yet. I said, well “let give the dog and my wife the option to later decide”. Dr. Tobia questioned my statement and called my dog “a mutt” and that my dog is not of specific breed to even consider letting her having future babies. Nothing “Ohana” about Dr. Tobia or the shop, and we are from Hawaii. Don’t waste your money or time here.

From the moment I walked into Ohana, I felt the genuine care and dedication the team has for their furry patients. ? Dr. Bridges, in particular, has been nothing short of outstanding. The way she interacts with my dogs showcases not only her immense knowledge but also her profound compassion for animals. She understands their unique personalities and addresses their needs with such precision. I cannot express enough gratitude for the peace of mind she brings to us. I highly recommend Ohana!!!

Excellent care and communication, whether you are local or coming in from overseas. They have USDA certified veterinarians, which helps to travel into and out of the country. I can highly recommend! Thank you for all that you do!

Ohana is the best! Dr. Medici has taken wonderful care of my pets for years and we love her! She and Dr. Germaine went above and beyond for my new cat this week when we found out just a few days after getting her that she needed surgery to repair a hernia. They were so patient and kind and made sure our sweet girl got everything she needed. I trust them completely with my pets! Tiffany has always been great too - and helped me save money on my dog’s allergy meds without my even asking. Thank you, Ohana!

Outstanding clinic here; we only take our fur kids to the schnauzer whisperer as we call her.

We adopted a dog that had heartworm and bad ear infection. We went to two other vets and neither could solve the ear problem. After a few tests, the problem was identified and a solution was prescribed. They were the only one that listen to the request for the vaccine for dogs who only drink pond water. Others just ignored the request. Are they the cheapest, no they are not. But I want competent vets working on my pup. To all that work there, thank you,The donut manEric Snyder

I wish I could give this vet a zero star review after the service and care we just received. We have been going to this vet for years without an issue. In fact we loved their customer service and care. Sadly, things have taken a turn for the worst and both our pup and my family have been treated so poorly. Our dog has had chronic health issues and has been prescribed (by Ohana) a prophylactic dosage for many years now which has helped her quality of life tremendously. All of a sudden they now have an issue with continuing to prescribe the only medicine which offered the only solution to her issues. Their reasoning was that it is not "quality medicine" or the "best care" to continue our dog on a low dose medicine, which ironically would result in poor quality of life for our dog. They left us with only one solution which was to do additional testing (all of which we have already done in the past) AKA they want to make money off of us vs. giving our dog the proper care that she deserves and has been working to give her a quality of life, pain-free. Both my husband and I have called several times to speak over the phone directly with Dr. Bridges but instead of getting a phone call back to discuss this issue, we were ignored. Finally, we received an insensitive email pretty much stating that we are S.O.L.I always try to give people in customer service the benefit of the doubt which is why I never leave bad reviews but after we have spent many years, many vet appointments, the financial toll of $15k+ in surgeries (not including vet bills) to fix this issue which later BOTH failed, and not to mention the pain our dog has been through, I can not in good conscience keep quiet. Now we are officially out of medicine for our dog and have to sit and wait until she gets sick again for them to help her.I beg anyone who currently takes their pets to or searches this Veterinarian to think twice about going here. Pets are like children and you naturally just want the best for them. Sadly, this place just doesn't put the animal first anymore ..... money is what seems to be their top priority.

It's been 11 years from the first incident, about 7 years from the last. Both have been so traumatic and horrendous that I never thought to leave a review until my app asked me about it today. Our puppy, Oliver- was very sick in 2011. After x rays and tests- they could not find out what was wrong beyond an intestinal blockage. They never prepared us for the cost and, because they closed around 6pm or so and had no answers, they charged us (2 sophomore college students) $500 and said to take him to the emergency vet for after hours care. Never called to check back in. Turns out our puppy had parvo and- after all the work the ER vet did- our boy Oliver did survive. For whatever terrible reason- convenience, I think- our kitten Thackery was sick and I took him to Ohana around 2015. The doctor ( owner I believe) told me his liver was failing and he would be soon going into seizures and eventually death. With me right there, she stabbed Thackery with a syringe and extracted yellow liquid from his liver to prove to me how sick he was. I'm still horrified to this day how she treated Thackery like he was a rotten vegetable that needed to be thrown away. I was shocked, petrified, trying not to cry in front of these cold and detached strangers. I said I wanted his pain to end and they asked if I wanted to be there when they euthanized him. For the rest of my life, my heart breaks when I remember how scared I was to say this was real and to be there for Thackery when he needed me. Because I know no one at Ohana was there for him. I'm forever changed for the worst because of this clinic. I will remember this pain until the day I die. So, maybe they might provide good care in many cases and be a great experience for many....but I am going to forever be in grief over their failures and I need at least some record- even a little review on yelp. Something to say Thackery was here and lived- and died- a pathetic death because of the cruelty of a 9-5 job who loses humanity for the creatures in the times where we all need it the most.
